After lunching al fresco most days whilst we were on holiday I made a conscious effort and made a lunch for us to eat outside in the garden at the table and chairs for lunch on Saturday, it was wonderful but started to spit with rain halfway through :rotfl:
The lure of all the nice shiny things in the shops would be far too much for me
Now get back upstairs and get studyingJust keep swimming!0 -

Hi Itsadogslife
Typical british weather - it can't make its mind up!
I did go back and study but I'm nearing my limit, I don't think my brain can take much more.0 -
Good Morning
The washing has gone out onto the line, fingers crossed that the rain holds off.
Just ploughing my way through the work, boss isn't in so can relax abit.
After next week I'm going to restart the diet as I haven't done too well recently and ramming as much chocolate and biscuits in whilst revising hasn't helped much either :rotfl:
Initially I'm going to aim for half a stone but ideally a stone would be lovely, will update my signature to track progress.
After next week its mega organisation ie morning routine, ironing, cleaning the house thoroughly instead of just giving it a quick tickle as it has had done over the last few months!
I am going to iron when I get in from work tonight as I can't face another ironing marathon like last weekend! After next week I'm aiming to start ironing as soon as the clothes come in off the line as my current method isn't working too well and is demotivating.
Hope everyone has a lovely day xxx0 -
Well the best laid plans and all that, my washing is soaking - oh dear I can't do the ironing :rotfl:
Had a good day at work, got loads done and feel happy about the time off that I'll be taking next week, unless theres some major catastrophe before the end of the week
I wore some summer clothes to work this morning and wish I hadn't bothered as its rained all afternoon, might be back to my winter wear tomorrow, so much for a bbq June!
Did a few surveys when I got home, One P*ll is looking quite good but will be a while before payout. I'm getting impatient now though as I'd like to make a start on the DS kindle fund.
LSD as I had to buy catfood for Mr Mog, and whilst I was in the shop a Mar* bar managed to make its way to the till as well
I resisted the temptation of the shops again today, I'm going to see Take That on Friday night so thought it would be nice to have something new but then thought about it again and decided I will have a hunt through my wardrobe before I purchase anything new.
I need to have a forage for some dinner now and then studying again tonight
Must organise pack ups better for tomorrow as I'd eaten mine by 11.30am hence the need to purchase a chocolate barNot good for my waistline or penny saving. That 52p could have gone into my moneybox

Good Evening
Just a little bit of news from me
WE'RE DEBTFREE :j:j:j:j:j:j
DH bonus paid out big time so we've paid off the £6645.00 that we owed to Barclaycard. I am still in shock and it hasn't quite sunk in yet.
Haven't really made any future plans, just going to let it sink in and enjoy the feeling before we start to plan anything. The obvious one is to build up some savings and then eventually start to overpay the mortgage but will start to make plans once my head is clearer.
I am going to keep posting on my diary as it has given me the focus that I was so badly lacking and it also does me good having to confess my sins in public.
Thank you to everyone who has posted on my diary and kept me going over the last 9 months, listening to my moans and groans, I certainly couldn't have got through it all without your support.
Hopefully my new found MSE ways won't be disappearing as I certainly never want to revisit that sorry state of affairs.
Catch up tomorrow, my bed awaits xxx
OMG! I go away for a few days and someone has the best news and I miss it!!!! Well done ChooI bet you are all thrilled!!! OMG I can't wait until I am in the same position to finally be able to plan for the future (long way off for me mind lol)
Congrats again!!! I want to insert some smilies but on mum's comp and for some reason they aren't all working! So just imagine I am doing a little dance for you and jumping up and down whilst clapping hands lol!!!
I'll catch up properly with everyone tomorrow when back at home!

DFW xxx
Thank you DFW, we are thrilled. I'm still in MSE mode though and have resisted the shops so far, still looking for bargains, still keeping DH reined in, still nagging to turn lights off etc. I'm sure that I will calm down and relax abit but I really don't want to go down that road again.
Take care xx0 -
Hi Choo, boooo to the washing getting soaked. I took the advice of the ITV weather last night and used the tumble drier :rotfl:!!!
Sooooo jealous that your off to see Take That, I keep seeing my friends facebook statues saying theyre all going on various different nights. Jealous.com!!!
Have a great time xxMummytogirls x0 -
Thanks Mummytogirls - I'm really looking forward to it, DH bought me the ticket for Christmas and I'm going with a group of friends so it should be a good night. I just hope it doesn't rain
Not much happening today, its pay day so the bank looks healthy for the moment :j
I need to go and buy a few more bits for pack ups though as I don't think that the food in the fridge will stretch another 2 days and I can't go shopping until Friday, so will just have to go:(
Think thats about it from me xx0 -
Good Evening
Sorry I've been AWOL for the last few days but thought it best that I gave the exams my full attention.
I've just done my last one today :j:j
They were fairly tough going but hopefully I've put enough work in over the last few months so now I've just got to wait for the results which will be out in August.
I'm totally wiped out and can't quite believe that they are finally over, I'm looking forward to having some time for myself now and looking after myself abit better than I have been, eating sausage rolls for breakfast because I was in a rush this morning isn't a good start to the day
Take That were amazing, I want to have Gary Barlows babies - he just gets better with age! :rotfl:
I had a good sing and dance and felt like a teenager again, had a very sore throat the next day from screaming like a nutter when Robbie appeared on stage :rotfl:It was good to get away from the books for a night and to catch up with friends as I've been a hermit over the last few months.
I've just managed to get DH to sort out his time off in the summer hols so we might start looking for a cheap holiday :j
Not much happening on the money front, it seems to be all pay out at the moment for school trips, school photos, party presents etc
I was very MSE today and made breadcrumbs from the croissant, wraps and crusts that I found lurking in the breadbin, gave them a quick blitz in the FP and froze them to be used another day :money:
I also found some celery lurking in the salad drawer which I knew wouldn't get used up anytime soon so I chopped it up and froze that as well!
The house is due to get a good blitz now that the exams are over, I can feel a list coming on :rotfl:
Back to work tomorrow
Think thats about it from me for now xxxx0 -
Good Morning
Managed to get some washing out on the line this morning, fingers crossed it stays dry!
Had a really good sleep last night for the first time in ages, but still feel as though I could sleep more but will catch up over the next few days. Felt quite envious of the cat this morning as I knew he'd be having a lovely cat day by choosing somewhere nice in the house to sleep all day.
I want a cat day :rotfl:
My desk doesn't look too bad so can hopefully catch up on the mundane, routine stuff before I start my next big project.
Lunchtime List
Buy a birthday present and card for my Grandma
Buy Fathers Day cards
Have a look in M&S - hopefully the sale is on
Have a look at some bedroom furniture
Pay my expenses into the bank
Think thats about it from me xx
