Good Morning
Pennywise - the Lakes are beautiful, we've been a few times and each time I'm blown away by the scenery.
Mummytogirls - My signature has been updated and grocery challenge is nestling under the VSP total. I've made it as inconspicuos as possible as I know its going to be my biggest challenge
The sun is out and the washing is blowing away on the line.
DH is having a work from home day so he's been left with a few financial bits to sort out. One of them is to try and reduce my monthly phone contract with Virgin and another is to cancel the HSBC credit card that we paid off the other month.
DS announced this morning that his trainer socks are too small so will have to purchase new ones at some point this week.
Tried to do loads of surveys last night and One Po** wasn't behaving so I gave up and tried Tolun* but got screened out of loads so I just gave up. I've started a list on my phone tracking the status of them so need to have a look and see which ones need the most attention to gain payout.
My Good Food magazine turned up yesterday so I'll be having a look through that tonight for some ideas and inspiration.
I made a gorgeous chicken, chorizo and fennel casserole last week which DD loved and asked for more but DS was at a friends for tea so he didn't get to try it. I can't imagine it would go down too well with him though as he has got so picky, I'm putting it down to his age as we've not fed him anything different and in our house if you don't eat whats on the plate there's no alternative!
Back to work xx0 -
Gosh choo our children sounds soo similar, DD will eat and try anything, DS is so faddy, has to be meat, veg & potatoes, won't eat pasta unless its tinned spaghetti:mad:, will eat rice at a push, won't eat cheese unless it is cooked in a toastie or on pizza, fruit will eat grapes/strawbs/blueberries, will not eat nice cheap fruit like apples bananas, oranges, he is a bl**dy nightmare, thing is i've never pandered to him they have always been given to eat what myself and hubby are eating and get told go without if you don't like it and he will just refuse to eat and go to bed hungry.0

Can I just ask is it the younger ones that are the pickier ones? My DD1 will eat almost anything you put in front of her. DD2 on the other hand we have to threaten no pudding at every meal! xxMummytogirls x0

Yep DS is the younger one, my DD now says to me when i'm cooking something new, 'are you sure mum, cos you know he's going to whinge' she even tells him to shut up and just eat it:rotfl:.0

Ha ha I'm going to blow this theory right out of the water!
My DS is the eldest and the pickiest, DD is the youngest and will try anything - spicy, fishy, casseroles, veggies, fruit but DS is getting worse as he gets older. He would live on fishfinger sandwiches if given the choice (which he obviously isn't) DD used to be pickier when she was younger but has gone the other way now and loves her food, she'll try anything!0 -
my DS is younger than DD so the youngest being the pickiest theory is out in my house too lolNEXT TARGET: Halifax credit card DEC 22 £0 / £4499.12POAMAYC 2011 £6378.35 POAMAYC 2012 £5000.78POAMAYC 2013 £3480.04 POAMAYC 2014 £4085.14POAMAYC 2015 £7565.24 POAMAYC 2016 £8000.90 POAMAYC 2017 £7278.80 POAMAYC 2018 £13208.18POAMAYC 2019 £13309.28 POAMAYC 2020 £15026.050
