    Good Morning
    Mummytogirls 50/50 isn't bad

Did you all see the Apprentice last night? Jim has gone right down in my estimations, what a nasty piece of work he is! Glad Vince has gone but I liked Ellie, probably because she was a Yorkshire lass as well!

The weather looks promising but I'm stuck at my desk all day, might get a walk out at lunchtime and find a quiet sunny spot to eat my lunch.

DH is having a "work from home" day today so I've left him in charge of the kids. I've left a shopping list and a Mr S voucher for him to use so lets just see what he manages to sneak into the trolley as well. The kids were moaning before I left for work that they didn't want to go shopping but the promise of some sweets soon changed their minds :rotfl:

Hopefully DH will also manage to put the washing out as well but that might be just pushing it abit with kids to look after and shopping to do, theres only so much he can do :rotfl:

Managed to do a few surveys this morning before leaving the house so Valued ops should be paying out again once all the points are updated, my first Amazon voucher for DS kindle :j

Its the usual manic atmosphere in the office and the boss is in today so heads down for a busy, stressful day :(

    Catch up soon xxx

    Good Afternoon

Had a good day at work and managed to get out for some fresh air at lunchtime so I found myself a nice quiet, sunny spot, ate my lunch and it was bliss!

DH has done the shopping very well and came under budget so top brownie points to him, he even went and visited Mr As and bought a few bits because he thought some products in Mr S were over-priced so I'm very impressed and he may have to do the shopping every week!

The kids have played out all afternoon but the back garden looks like a disaster as they've been making dens and I think every child in the village has congregated in the back garden. Needless to say our ice lolly stash has been ransacked.

Its my day off tomorrow so will see what the kids would like to do, hopefully something cheap! Might take a picnic to NT or just go to the park, hopefully it will be warm again and I might even treat them to an icecream!

Will update my grocery totals later, its finances night tonight as I need a rest from the revision xx

Ouchie indeed Abba!!! Where was your sunscreen?

I am a fine one to lecture, I burn so easily and always miss a spot where sunscreen should go and get burnt. I always get caught out as well by thinking its not that hot when really it is.

Hope it calms down overnight, try some E45 cream if you have any xx

    Good Evening

Just a little bit of news from me

    WE'RE DEBTFREE :j:j:j:j:j:j

DH bonus paid out big time so we've paid off the £6645.00 that we owed to Barclaycard. I am still in shock and it hasn't quite sunk in yet.

Haven't really made any future plans, just going to let it sink in and enjoy the feeling before we start to plan anything. The obvious one is to build up some savings and then eventually start to overpay the mortgage but will start to make plans once my head is clearer.

I am going to keep posting on my diary as it has given me the focus that I was so badly lacking and it also does me good having to confess my sins in public.

Thank you to everyone who has posted on my diary and kept me going over the last 9 months, listening to my moans and groans, I certainly couldn't have got through it all without your support.
Hopefully my new found MSE ways won't be disappearing as I certainly never want to revisit that sorry state of affairs.

Catch up tomorrow, my bed awaits xxx

Thank you Pennywise, Abba and Polly

I am over the moon with the news but still in shock and it hasn't really sunk in yet. My head is still in debt busting mode though and hopefully should keep me on the straight and narrow, I just need to keep DH reined in and we should be fine.

I am never owning another credit card again though, using cash or the debit card has made me think about purchases and made me more accountable for my actions.

I am going to continue with the surveys as the thrill of reaching payout and looking forward to receiving the payment far outweighs using the credit card. I can also spend the money guiltfree as I know that I've earnt it and its taken a long time to earn.
I love my moneybox and again thats money that I can just spend on whatever I fancy, guilt free.

MSE has certainly taught me to respect money as its a very slippery, rapid descent into chaos.

    The future plans are

    Build up a nest egg
Save up for a new kitchen
    Save up for dream holiday
    Overpay the mortgage

Today has been a LSD, I took the kids to a NT property, packed a picnic and just bought some ice creams whilst we were there. I found a lovely shady spot, read my book and the kids went off and played - bliss!!

Not much planned for this evening, might crack open the Pimms later and have a sit in the sun.

Hope everyone has a great evening xxx

Can i just add qualifying to that list:cool: which of course should up your income and make the plans happen sooner - no pressure, just gentle persuasion, which i don't think you need as you're so focussed, you've got rid of the debt so quickly you'll get everything else sorted too :j:j
