    Hello

Thank you ladies - Mummytogirls - we had a chinese, unfortunately it was very salty so I didn't appreciate it as much as I should.

DFW - salad and half a bottle of wine - I like it!

Home from work and the washing is soaked so its going to have to go in the tumble dryer

Not much to report, I'm getting abit fed up working every day instead of just my usual 4 days - but the money will be helpful towards the hall decoration and its only until the school holidays start so I can't complain too much. The house needs a damn good blitz (nothing new there) but not getting alot of time to do it.

I noticed that Mr Ts are doing 20% off schoolwear so might pop along there this evening and see whats around as I also have a £3 voucher off a £30 spend as well so although I have a severe dislike of Mr Ts, I'll take their discounts and save myself some pennies :D

Valued Ops - is 50p away from payout so I'll be able to order an Amazon voucher for the C word when my pending credits update.

Right better get the washing into the dryer and make some dinner

Wahoo - Valued ops balnce has updated so I have my first Amazon voucher for DS kindle :j

I also managed to visit Mr T and bought the following

    6 white shirts for DD
    6 white shirts for DS
    1 DD Skirt
    2 DD cardigans
    8 pairs tights
    5 pairs socks for DS
    2 PE T-shirts for DD

It cost me £39.20 so not too bad, I'll still need to buy

    DS socks
    DS PE T-shirts & shorts
    DD PE shorts
    DD 2 pinafores
    DS 2 pairs of trousers
    DS 2 jumpers
Possibly plimsolls for DS (DD gets DS hand me downs)
    Shoes - DD

I have also sorted out a pile of clothes for ebay and another pile to go to the clothes bank, given the downstairs cloakroom a deep clean, put some clothes away and done some more ironing so my ironing basket is now empty -a very productive evening :T

Right time for bed - I'm shattered xxx
  • Thanks for reminding me about plimsolls, always forget about those when buying unform, i also always pass down DD's to ds.

Fab news about VO finally getting to payout level.

Do you have a Cash for Clothes place near you? They're springing up all over the place here and pay between 30p and 50p per kilo depending which one I use. Its more of an incentive than the clothes bank especially if its not the sort of stuff a charity shop would be able to sell on.
Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.50

Thank you moo2moo, I shall look into this, would be better to get a few pounds rather than just giving it away. Its just old pjs, dressing gowns etc - not worthy of ebay or charity shops.

    Hi Mummytogirls and Pennywise

Mummy - I shall have a look at M&S, I still have £15 of vouchers to spend with them so it might be worth it.

Pennywise - Glad I reminded you about the plimsolls, I always forget them until the last minute and then end up racing round trying to find some. I also need to add new pack up bags to the list as well, very sad though as this will be DS last year at junior school as he goes to secondary school September 2012 :(

Something tells me he won't want to be taking a spiderman pack up bag to secondary school :rotfl::(

    TGI Friday again!!!

Hoping to get finished soon and get home, we have a decorator visiting later on to give us a quote so I need to have a quick whizz round at home, I don't like the thought of tradesmen coming round and the house been a tip :rotfl:

Had a quick pop to Accessori*e at lunchtime and their sale has started so I managed to get 3 birthday presents for DD friends and a few stocking fillers for DD for £21! Bargain

I have even been super-mega organised and started a stocking filler list on my phone with even a note attached detailing where I have stashed them. Might have another mooch round the sales next week to see if there are any other stocking fillers to purchase.

I don't know about everyone else but I find it so much easier buying bargain girly presents than boy presents!

Right back to my work, the boss is in a grump today (just for a change) and I don't want to give him any excuse for having a rant. Heads down!!

    Hi Choo,

Re M and S, you can redeem gift cards online and also have it delivered into store! This coat ive picked up for DD is such good quality, its thick and rain proof. I really hope it fits her or they have the bigger size if I need to exchange.

I have a gift app on my phone too! How ever did we live our lives without these fancy phones?!

Im not really into buying boys presents! Plus with me having 2 girls im in my element with all the pink, glittery loveliness!!

Although the coat I mentioned above is actually black! DD will love it as shes getting a bit annoyed with me buying pink all the time :p!!

    Good Morning

Mummy - girls are definitely easier to buy for, all pink, sparkly and glittery stuff - lovely. My phone is a godsend, how I ever used to manage with just a plain one is beyond me, I'd be lost without it. It has lists for everything and my diary's on it as well etc.

I had a good night last night catching up with friends and didn't spend too much as we had some vouchers so that was all good. Tonight DH and I are out together with no kids :j

I'm feeling tired today, so looking forward to an early tonight tomorrow - I need alot of sleep otherwise I'm Mrs Grumpy.

Managed to get a few more bits of school uniform from Mr As yesterday and had a browse through their sale and managed to get 2 t-shirts for DS and a skirt and top for DD for £12 so I'm chuffed with that.

    I still need to buy

    2 packed lunch bags
    2 DS trousers
    2 DS jumpers
    DS PE Shorts & t-shirts
    DS plimsolls
    DD shoes

Nearly there, it just all needs names putting in, washing and ironing!

We're officially skint again for this month as DH has purchased 2 suits and 3 shirts, so thats it now - no more spending for this month.

Two loads of washing are out on the line and there are towels to be washed. The ironing can wait until tomorrow.

The decorator came round last night so we're just waiting for a quote now. Time to head out now and look at carpets :j

Just given the downstairs a thorough blitz, the upstairs can be done tomorrow morning.

Hope everyone has a lovely day xxx
