Well abit of exciting news, I've booked some flights to go to Italy in the summer holidays, I remembered Quidco and got some cashback. Just need to book carhire and some accomodation now and we're all sorted for a lovely week in the Italian Lakes. We just fancied doing something different this year and love Italy so looking forward to taking the kids as they both love italian food! Best of all non of it has been booked on credit card, I don't have one anyway but could have used DHs but they were also wanting to charge a 2% booking fee. I'm so excited and looking forward to it, its the first holiday thats been booked in a long time without the use of our flexible friend.
I've booked the cat into the cattery for the week, he's not too bothered about going as he gets loads of fuss and attention - purrfect for him! All the budget has been worked out from car parking at Heathrow, overnight hotel, accomodation, misc spends, cattery, spending money etc. Its scary when its all wrote down but at least everythings all accounted for and they'll be no unexpected costs (hopefully)
Its booked for the week when my exam results come out so hopefully I can get access to my email as I won't be using my Blackberry on holiday. I'll be driving DH mad if I can't access my emails. Nothing to fret about though, it will sort itself out.

Not much else to report, busy day at work - best get back to it and earn some pennies for this holiday

    Morning

Well today I feel horrendous, no appetite, lethargic, heavy legs and sooo tired. I could just go to bed now, however I don't think the boss would appreciate me sleeping at my desk.

Not much to report, need to go shopping to Mr S with half a list. Last night was hectic at home, I had so much to do and when I'd finished everything and sat down to do my list DH walked in and we had our dinner. By then it was 9pm so time for The Apprentic, by 10pm I was exhausted so went to bed and as soon as my head hit the pillow I was asleep.

We've got loads of food in the freezer so I'm hoping to use alot of that up this week and give the utility room freezer a good clean out over the holidays.
It will be a pot luck week of dinners but we won't starve.

Its a lovely day here so the washing is out and having a good blow. Might see if I can get away abit earlier to go home and sleep. DH is home so he can take charge of the kids for a change x

    Good Morning

Thanks Mummy and Abba, I'm feeling much better now. I got in from work and went straight to bed, DH sorted out tea and the kids. I still felt abit dodgy yesterday but had a raging appetite so thats good. Today I'm fighting fit and raring to go :T

Well its raining cats and dogs here, good job all the washing and drying was done yesterday. Even the cats bored as he can't go out to play. He's attacked me this morning, by launching himself at my arms and biting me, that cat gets worse by the day! I told him off and he attacked me again :rotfl:

Not much planned for today, need to catch up on the housework and ironing.
I'm going to make a curry for tea so need to find a recipe and make sure that we have all the ingredients. I don't fancy going out in this rain so might just make do with what we have.

Happy July weather :( Hopefully it will clear up before the kids break up for the summer holidays otherwise its going to be a long 4 weeks entertaining them on my days off

I also need to catch up with some surveys today. My money box is also looking healthy so I'm going to treat myself to some perfume when we go to Italy. At the moment I'm fancying some Chanel Coco Mademoiselle :) but its mega bucks!

    Back to the housework xxxx

    Good Morning

I've been up since 7am so I've managed to get alot done

    Shower and dressed
Breakfast for myself and the kids
Fed the cat and washed his bowls out
    Swept the kitchen floor
    Emptied the kitchen bin
    Cleaned the downstairs cloakroom
    Hoovered and tidied the lounge
Changed DS bed and hoovered his room
    Tidied the bathrooms
    Stripped our bed
    Done 2 loads of washing

I am now looking at our personal finances and reconciling everything back to the spreadsheet. Its been abit of a spendy week - with booking the holiday, choosing paint etc. Next week will be a low cost week (hopefully)

Its raining here again so the tumble dryer is doing some overtime today, I've not used it much at all recently so it can be justified today.

I've taken a nice piece of belly pork out of the freezer so we'll have that for dinner tonight and I'll make an apple pie as well as DS was moaning that he never gets anything nice for pudding. I need to find a recipe for the pork and I have a butternut squash as well so I'll roast that instead of having potatoes.

DH did a pile of ironing yesterday so I just need to iron the fiddly dresses that he couldn't manage :rotfl:

Not much planned for the rest of the day, I could do with blitzing our office and having a good sort out so might try and get that done later.

    Catch up soon xxx
