Hope everyone is having a lovely day. I have been thoroughly spolit, I've had breakfast in bed, been given some lovely homemade cards, biscuits and sweets and a bottle of my favourite perfume.
DH did a very MSE purchase - used a £5 off voucher from Boots, whilst using a voucher for extra points and also a double points voucher :jHopefully there will be enough points soon for the gorgeous Chanel nail varnish that I've had my eye on :j
We've also had a picnic at the seaside so I've had a lovely day and I'll certainly sleep well tonight!
Its back to reality now as I've got the bedding to iron and remake the bed followed by ironing school uniforms and studying:( - ying and yang :rotfl:

you are a girl after my own heart with the Chanel nail varnish. although I find the Dior stuff lasts better on my nailshopefully not long on those points :T

Hi little_h
Yes DH surprised me with the mse purchase although he did get a little nudge in the right direction, alright it was an almighty shove out of the door armed with my vouchers and advantage card but he did it and saw the benefit to doing it so job done
Yes I think we are very similar, I have expensive taste as well I love expensive make up and nail varnish. Its probably no different to cheaper brands but I love the whole buying experience, packaging and tiddly bags they come home in. It makes me feel special wearing it so job done I suppose, but I haven't bought any recently unless I have the cash, voucher or points for it xx0 -
Good Morning
Just been having a little think  and realised that DH will get paid April 21st instead of April 25th due to his normal pay day falling on Easter Monday, normally he would be just be paid on the Friday before but its Good Friday so he'll be paid on the Thursday instead :jWhoppee!
This means that I've budgetted food for a 5 week month but its only a 4 week month oh well we've now got some extra bits for May which will be a 5 week gap in between pay days!0 -

Hello
Just had confirmation that my new savings account is all set up and just needs some money transferring across so that will be a job for over the weekend :T
We got our HSBC credit card statement yesterday and the balance is a big fat zero so this account can now be cancelled, DH was well chuffed and can now see the benefit to cutting down on our expenditure.
The kids are at the end of term school disco tonight so will need some money to get in and for some drinks and treats whilst they are there. They break up tomorrow night but I wish DS could just continue to go to school all holidays he's in a foul mood at the moment!
DD and DS both need new summer coats and new pjs as DS are half mast at the moment :rotfl:
DS will probably need new school shoes as well so I can feel an expensive week about to happen. Luckily the shoes are budgetted for and I have a M&S voucher for new PJs, the new coats can be paid for with the £20 monthly budget and a small contribution from an unknown source at the moment.
Kids - why do they grow?
Surveys are quite steady at the moment, one is stuck at £9.75 and I need £10 before payout  I have actually done over £10 of surveys but they take 28 days to update the balance. Might tootle over there in a minute and check the balance.
Have a good day all xx0 -
