Good Evening
Nothing exciting to report on the work front just steady away
Tonight since been home from work I have
1) Had a quick tidy round and put everything back in its place - very profitable as well may I add I found £1.69 :j so thats all gone into my personal treat fund, well I was the one tidying up
2) Done one load of washing
3) Made the dreaded pack ups
4) Made dinner
5) Taken all the clean dry underwear out of the airing cupboard and put it away in everyones drawers
6) Prepared a beef stroganoff for tomorrow nights dinner and left it in the slow cooker to cook all day tomorrow. I have cleared out all the salad/veg drawer and bunged anything in that was worth using so hopefully it will be ok and if it isn't - tough
7) Washed and polished the children again
8) Swish and swipe of the downstairs toilet
So some very productive hours indeedy :T
On a money front DH has received an unexpected bill for £200 he is going to take up the matter with the company involved so hopefully we won't have to pay it. What is the saying 2 steps forward and 3 back? At least we can deal with it now - had it happened in September it would have pushed me over the edge!!
Back to my studying - company law tonight, a very light hearted subject :rotfl:
At least theres the scrummy, yummy Harry to look forward to :T0 -
my you've been very busy i'm tired just reading it, hope the £200 bill gets sorted, it's always the way when you get on top of things there's always something lurking in the shadows to try and bring us down xNEXT TARGET: Halifax credit card DEC 22 £0 / £4499.12POAMAYC 2011 £6378.35 POAMAYC 2012 £5000.78POAMAYC 2013 £3480.04 POAMAYC 2014 £4085.14POAMAYC 2015 £7565.24 POAMAYC 2016 £8000.90 POAMAYC 2017 £7278.80 POAMAYC 2018 £13208.18POAMAYC 2019 £13309.28 POAMAYC 2020 £15026.050

I hope it gets sorted as well, I will be at DH until he gets fed up of listening to me nattering at him to get it sorted lol.
I've had a reasonable day, nothing exciting to report. Picked the kids up from school, did some more studying and washed yet more clothes.
On a MSE front I am going to start looking for a new job!
I like where I am but I'm getting itchy feet to move and need more stimulation! The boss is a very volatile character as well, I just dread him coming into work in one of his foul moods and firing me!
DH always says it would be his loss if that happened but I just want abit more security.
My laptop has also died, DH thinks it can be fixed but theres definitely nothing in the budget for a replacement. At least we have a PC in the home office so not a complete disaster.
Tonight is going to be spent meal planning, shopping list making and updating my CV.
Bye bye for now xx0 -

Hi Dollybeads
Thanks for reading I don't mind one bit if you sign upto my diary the more the merrier xx
I've been following your posts as well, you sound very positive and are taking steps to get a grip on the situation. I found that the hardest part was adding everything up and seeing it in black and white. After the panicky, sicky, knotty stomach feeling came the lets get it sorted once and for all attitude.
These diaries are fabulous I have "met" some lovely people so far on here and all of a sudden it doesn't seem half as bad.
I will be signing up to your diary as well, I had a quick read yesterday but didn't get round to posting on anyones diaries as my laptop died
Good luck with your debt busting Dolly xx0 -
I'm back my lovely neighbour managed to fix my laptop and best of all it hasn't cost me a penny, well a bottle of wine. I'm so happy I felt lost without it :j:j:j:j:j:j:j
I have spent £65 on my grocery shopping today  I really need to get it down but at least I'm not overspending. My christmas saving card with Mr A has now got the grand total of £6 on it.
Tomorrow I'm going to visit Farm Foods and Home Bargains to see if I can get bargains there.
I also saw Maltesers chocolate easter rabbits advertised on tv today so I am going to hunt some down tomorrow, I love chocolate :EasterBun
On the job front I have registered with an agency today so hopefully there will be something available soon!
I also found 2p on the pavement as well so thats in my debt busting jar lol - every little helps.
I'm now going to catch up with everybody elses diaries.0 -

Evening Choogirl, sorry ive not been around as promised... applications called ggrrr!!!
Anyway, im glad youve managed to register with an agency and get the laptop free for the price of a bottle of wine! What a fantastic neighbour!
You are sooooo organised nowadays you're putting me to shame ha!!
I absolutely love farmfoods, not really for the frozen stuff but more the branded stuff thats cheapish. Oh the LA diner mini potato waffles are lovely and so cheap too!!!
Catch up soon x xMummytogirls x0 -
hi choogirl, my laptop dying is one of my biggest fears too! but so glad you managed to get it fixed for just the price of a bottle of wine, bet you didn't have to negotiate any computer geeks either!
sounds like it could be a good time to start the job hunt. Your studying will demonstrate your commitment and the fact that you are almost qualified should mean a good salary too. I wish you the very best of luck :T
a volatile boss is a tough thing to cope with. it's all good experience of course, but it's nice not to feel like you are walking on eggshells all the time. having been this boss before, and then leaving to start a new job working for a manager who was even more volatile than I used to be, woweee that was my lesson well and truly learnt, and I try very hard to be much more even tempered now! :eek:0 -
Thank you Pennywisepoundstupid and Mummytogirls for posting xx
Little_h - I keep looking at working with this boss as a good experience as well, he's a nice enough character but abit like Jackel & Hyde. I had a bad boss in another job she was horrible - really !!!!!y and it doesn't do alot for your self esteem when you're only young. I must be due to get a good boss at some point. Hopefully a decent salary will also be on offer it would certainly help at the moment.0
