We've called him George - he's been around for a few weeks but we've just assumed he was passing through on his way home - but this weekend he came, he cried until we let him in and he hasn't left since. He wasn't that clean when he arrived, covered in oil and gack but a good feed, a few good washes, brushes and lots of strokes has made him look a lot more presentable. He went to the vets today for a check up - he's not chipped and no one has come forward to claim him, so all the while he wants to stay, he's more than welcome. :T"Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. Well, as I always believe, pets choose their owners and he obviously felt you were good enough to share his life with. Loving the name and I am sure you will all make lots of lovely happy memories together. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Hmmm... I'm getting the idea that maybe some people have set their cameras back on that dusty shelf again?DFW'ers photography comp member no. 60

you could be right. I do have some photos but life is hectic. I am also very disappointed to report that the photographic course due to start tomorrow has had to be missed as I have no transport and the public bus service stops from the village to the venue two hours before the course starts. I live in a rural village so cant walk there. I am very disappointed. However I have bookmarked the website and I WILL get some decent photos this year. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar.
