Thanks both of you!
EH... You r right, pitch black room, flash below and behind, tripod and 1sec exposure. This was another technique I read about in photo mag.
Lemon Tree, you should have a look at this photography mag website- they have a 'Techniques' section on the homepage that has a comprehensive section with tips, ideas and suggestions for different projects to try.... Thats where I found my idea. U have to try at least one!?

I've been so busy I've just not found the time to really get my camera out.....but then at the weekend we ended up with a new edition....he's a stray who's decided to come live with us and he's making the most of the facilities whislt he's here.....so this weekend it was "all change" to make a fuss of this little fellow who really does have some big paws to grow into...."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. Ha ha... He really looks like he has settled in and enjoying the facilities!!
What's his name then?DFW'ers photography comp member no. 60 -
he looks very cute and very settled. His white bits are very white for a stray0

Great photos. I have struggled to find the time to take photos or upload those that I have. Will get there eventually.
I agree with LT, very white paws for a stray. I used to have a cat who spent a lot of his time in a house 2 streets away. I only found out by accident because a friend was visiting the house for some reason and there was my cat on the sofa. The owner said he was a stray who liked to come in for a warm now and again. Oh and he liked the chicken that she fed him tooMy friend didnt have the heart to tell her that he lived with me as she enjoyed his company so much.
