Oh Frozenance, I will have to pick your brains. My big plan is to move to the German/Austrian Alps sometime as soon as possible. I did get to see Chiemsee but only from the car whilst stuck in an 11 hour traffic jam on the way home!

Gorgeous shots Cheri - thanks for sharing them with us, the first one in particular just screams out Christmas, doesn't it! :T

Thanks EH, I have to admit to having a very romantic view of Christmas and the photo sums it up completely. Glad you like them. I did try hard with the camera whilst away but have been a little disappointed in the photos that I took. I tried to do some skiiers and cross country skiers but not happy with the composition. Also I have some ok shots of deers but the ones I like best have things in the background that spoil them. I am thinking that I really need to learn about photo shop.

  • Cheri I first found Pshop really daunting, but another source of help I found was the digital photo mags you can get in newsagents. Most of them have a different weekly 'How to' section, which can really teach you a few good skills

Seems that I am not the only one who missed the deadline for this. Can we have an extension EH. I am hoping to get something whilst I am [STRIKE]skiving[/STRIKE]working in town today.

An extension of time on this is definately called for, as I only got around to taking my shot this morning, and even that is a cheeky cop-out! Take your time people.....

  • Wow how come I'm first this week?

Well this is my photo....kinda took the opportunity to experiment, and I liked the way the smoke from the candle was swirling about and CHANGING direction when I blew the candle out.....
