    Hi Tea,

good to see you back again do hope the 'situation' is not getting you down too much.

I like your 10 things idea too, but right now just focusing on debt & getting fit, I'm easily distracted so have to keep things simple :rotfl:

Excellent news on the amazon sale & the £2 coins - I havent seen one in weeks .

    Bring on payday :D
  • Hi PT, nice to see you back and well done on the payments & £2 coins ! Likewise for me ..... I've not seen a hint of one for weeks now ..... I can blame you for hogging them all :rotfl: Mind you, last time I had some to bank, I errrm discovered I had £80 worth of them  Ooooh the shame :o

Sorry to hear about the background stuff going on, keeping the wings crossed that it gets sorted real soon. <<<<HUGS>>>>

  • Afternoon peeps sorry for the delay in updating been a busy time here. Personally I will be glad when it’s over with but we have a long way to go yet and yes the ‘situation’ is getting me down despite trying not to let it :(

Herewego – I have tried to find a link to my first diary but can’t seem to locate it? I must be looking in the wrong area, will have another look and post for you. You are right about the 2013 when the CB goes however it is surprising just how fast that will come around, hence trying to clear the credit card before it hits.

Hi Lula – I too am easily distracted hence the need for a list for the coming year. How’s the laptop?

GreyhoundAngel – Hi to you too. Haven’t banked the £2 coins yet but need to as there was more payments that have come out that I wasn’t expecting this month.

I have checked Quidco and finally they have received payment from More Than for the insurance I took out with them earlier on in the year, so hopefully £55 will be winging its way over to my bank soon. This will also go off the credit card.

My lovely friend retires on Friday, so I won’t need to go the next town on a Thursday to see him anymore however as him and his wife live just around the corner we have agreed to meet up still.

With everything that’s been going on here I haven’t done anymore Christmas shopping which was on my list to do this week. I really need to sort out what I’ve got for DH and the kids, on the family side of things I’ve only got both mum’s left to get.

This week so far I haven’t maintained any NSD’s or walking to school however this afternoon I made an effort and walked to school and back when it was time to collect DS.
  • Morning, will update properly later.

Herewego - Here is the link to my first diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/872023

Pretty boring reading to be honest.

    hi PT.
Sorry that things are a bit up and down at the moment. hope side to side progress starts again soon.

I can't get over the amount of people who will be losing child benefit.
All I can say is that various welfare reformers of the 30's 40's and 50's must be turning in their graves.
