Does anyone know how easy it is to get into Edinburgh from the hotel in Dunfermline? I'd prefer public transport if possible, but could take the car if I have to.
My boyfriend wants to go there to play golf, so I thought I would hit the shops with his credit card!0 -
Just booked this with lovely lady, explained was buying for Feb but due to FIL being ill may need to change and she said no problem at all.
Truly Fab.
Thanks OP0 -

Yes I think they require full payment and the offer is only valid until 31/12/2010 so you better get in there quickly!0 -

You can get a bus from just up the road from the hotel that will take you right into Edinburgh centre. Or you can get a train over from Dunfermline Town or Rosyth (hotel is right inbetween both, in fact might really be a bit closer to Rosyth, 1 min in the car and there is a car park). Or you can get a bus from outside the hotel into Dunfermline town center. Hope this helps you....0 -

I would get the train. However I wouldn't go into Edinburgh for the shops as it's too touristy. I much prefer Kirkcaldy for shopping as I hate shopping.0 -
