just booked two vouchers which can be used at the same time. So we are off for a four night break to Scotland in Jan for £198 :-)

    Wow! Good to know...

Also, as a side, the voucher states a three course dinner - i was expecting just a main!

I like the look of this, where is the pic in the OP from? Cant see it on the website. My Mum and Step Dad had their honeymoon in Bournemouth 3 years ago, he has terminal cancer but I'm a bit worried about booking for February (month they got married) and then they might not be able to go. As its open till 31st Dec I can wait till Dec to decide.

The picture is a scan of a leaflet I picked up when I was in one of their hotels on a work thing recently. I couldn't find it on the website either so I guess it is just a telephone thing.
  • Wow, thanks so much! This is perfect timing for me, I need a weekend away :)
  • Anyone know what the one in Wallingford near Oxford is like please?
And just to clarify to save a shock later, is it £99 per person or for 2 people? Sorry, am sure this is a stupid question but have a little lad with an ear infection that's kept me up all night!
  • 99 for 2 people (in Jan) - total bargain!

I'm thinking about getting one for March at 129 for a mother day present so me and my mum can go away...

How does the 3 course meal thing work if it's prepaid? I've never stayed in a hotel and don't want to look stupid when I get there but really want to book one!

When we did this offer last year, we had to give our credit card number when we arrived to cover any extra charges - wine, drinks etc.
There was a separate menu for the gold voucher users (with plenty of choice). We could then either pay for the drinks when we had
finished our meal, or charge them to our room to pay on departure.

You should definitely book, if the hotel staff are as helpful as Robert who sold me my voucher, you will have a lovely time!

Oh dear, I must have got the only useless member of staff when I booked! My recept has jsut arrived with totally the wrong name on (despite me repeating it over and over to the lady on the telephone on Saturday, so I rang them up and they have no record of my booking! Waiting for a call back when they've sorted it out...

Now sorted out by a very helpful and polite lady, have even booked the room as the weekend I wanted was not available so I had to go for the one before. Seems these rooms are popular, probably thanks to all these Gold Ingot Vouchers!
