Wow, that's food for thought....Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
That sounds great, the event
I see why you spend a lot of time reading and whatnot tho - even with the amount you do, you've only got a week to do that essay? Yikes ... I hope you *do* manage to get away camping. I remember going to your city years and years ago, to visit a horseriding scheme for people with mental handicaps (I was the finance bod from Head Office) and being absolutely astonished how near and how *wild* all the greenery was. Lovely.
To be honest, with previous essays I have started really early - but this time I'm pretty much on the timetable where you are meant to do it over a week or so (this one is doing my head in a bit!)
We are lucky to have some lovely places really nearby (and we will be camping fairly nearby since we're such amateur campers - at least we can get home quickly then if it rains/ tent falls down :rotfl:)Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
Good idea for the camping nearby. And just because stuff is nearby, doesn't mean it isn't fantastic. When I left my previous town, I took my sister to a panoramic viewpoint 5 minutes away in the car - I used to go up there 3 times a year, maybe, but she'd *never* been, so focussed on big trips to America, or buying the house in France. She lived further away from it than me, of course, but even so ..... and she was completely gobsmacked, no idea it even existed. Which was a bit sad, really. Use what you've got on your doorstep (and yes, very advantageous if the tent falls down :eek::rotfl::eek::rotfl::eek::rotfl:)
Okay, definitely off to do the next round of moneysupermarket...2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
WE have got some pretty darn amazing stuff nearly by here KC :T :T :T :T No need to ever go further than about 20 miles :rotfl: :rotfl: (you may or may not remember that our last camping trip was abandoned in the middle too
)
We're going camping too this weekend :j :j :j Heading up to the dales though with some friends :T
Food for thought indeed with the other jobs! :T :T0 -
Hooray for camping weekends! :T (I'm determined we're actually going to go this time!) Hope you have a lovely time
Talking of lovely places, I've just gone into a little daydream staring at the wallpaper on my computer, which is a photo from not too far away...Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -

Well, if it's censored, I can't possibly tell you, can I?
Didn't go camping in the end, just didn't get ourselves organised, but nice weekend with lots of playing music and walking.
Massively fed up about being back at work this morning, but ho hum..... got application form and essay to finish over the next few days.Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0
