On the case.. definitely! Currently feeling rather excited and scared as have arranged definite date and time for flute lesson.. and have just sent off the application form for that job... eeeeeeeeee

Badminton wasn't too elephantine last night - think we are improving!

Today, hoping for peace and quiet at work to get on with some fiddly website stuff.. massive meeting in the middle of the day though, tut. Need to give essay a final read over and get that submitted too, then get on with the next bit of course.

Flute teacher has asked me to prepare a piece so need to think about what to play.. and get practising!

Right, have just done another scary thing.. I have two separate accounts with the OU (one from years ago) and have just asked them to merge them. This is scary because I have a horrible feeling I might owe them some money on the old one :o If I do, I think it will only be a couple of hundred at the most so I should be able to sort that out OK. I have also downloaded the forms for credit transfer for courses done elsewhere so I can count those towards my degree.

I need a new debt/savings goal.. the 100 days is up on the previous one - debt £650.93, savings £1200.00, although debt will be close to £1000 when I get paid from second job. What goal though.. hmmm?

Well done for sending off your application form! :T :T Keep us updated! Are you going to the sustainability celebration thing this evening? Might pop over - although tis other side of town from me and it'll be a good walk <yawn>

    Oooh, a new goal! :T :T What a lovely idea :T

Ah well it gives me something to focus on practising - she said preferably something that covers all 3 octaves but "not necessarily all the way to the top" (which is just as well really, although the bottom is currently more of a problem :rotfl:)

Ooh I'd forgotten about the sustainability thingy - it's not far from me so I might pop along.. though "yawn" is kind of how I'm feeling too!

Morning! Well, I was "yawn".. and decided to have an early night, but that didn't happen! Got in to find Mr S playing with one of his new toys.. the mandolin :) Helped him out a bit with reading some music (I've giving him music reading/theory lessons which is fun, although he keeps complaining that the rules are "silly" :rotfl:).. then I retreated to the attic and tootled for a bit. Made tea, finished off and submitted essay, finished book 2 out of 4 which I'm reading as prep for next course, had extended email conversation with manager at second job (which resulted in her basically saying if I think of anything which would be good for the scheme/ website, I should just get on and do it! :D), and finally ended up spending hours on Youtube watching all sorts of nonsense :rotfl: Got to bed after midnight so rather sleepy this morning.. especially as I had mad dreams about running a marathon whilst wearing wellies...

Anyway, the sun is shining (for now) and I have a quiet day ahead (fingers crossed). Got my appraisal at work tomorrow, but not too worried about that (although I am tempted to say my plans are to find a more interesting job lol)... Mr S has his appraisal today, and he had a hint yesterday that he may be getting a secondment to something else for a year, so that's quite exciting - fingers crossed!

Sounds like a lovely evening Squizz! :T :T

Go on - I dare you to say that in your appraisal :rotfl: :rotfl: Fingers crossed for Mr S!

Tempting.. although I should hopefully have heard if I've got an interview by then so may have to mention it!

Mr S is a bit mystified as the thing he was sort-of told about yesterday wasn't mentioned in his appraisal.

I really need to get organised with lunches for work again - have had to buy something every day this week (and just about to pop out to do the same again :o). I've set up a budget spreadsheet for next month, something I haven't done for a while, so I can keep better track of things. If I do get part-time job I'll need to be a bit more careful than I have been the last few months, and if I don't I could do with chucking more money at debts and savings until I'm in the position to do something more interesting. Typically, when I'm thinking about saving, I need to spend.. my trainers and my headphones have both fallen apart at the same time - which rather spoils my walk to work!
