Yawwwn... well had a bad day at work yesterday, hugely stressed and very headachy. Got home, lay on the sofa and nearly cried.. then stuffed myself with pasta, coffee and painkillers and got on with essay. Two hours and 1500 words later I felt much better!

Application form is finished, just getting a bit of advice on a few things, and then it will be being sent off :) Feel a bit all over the place at the moment thinking about the possibility of actually having time to do other things.. weird!

Badminton after work, and then I must package up eBay stuff I sold at the weekend - made about £35 in the end :) Hopefully fit in a bit of tootling too - having played every day when I was off, I missed it last night. Mr S has managed to expand the instrument collection to a mandolin and a new guitar as well so if either of those arrive it may be slightly noisy in our house :rotfl:

I never thought of it as a frog, but considering I have been waking up at night panicking about the essay.. hmmm. Weird though, with previous ones I have been really organised and written them well in advance, but I really didn't get the inspiration with this one until the other morning when I woke up thinking about it (for one section) and while I was writing it (for the other). Ah well, it's nearly done now.

May have to deal with another mini-frog today as second job have yet again not paid me on the date we're supposed to get paid, grr!

Just eat the frog. Get onto them, you'll feel better when its done.

I vividly remember doing assignments for OU, when despite my best efforts I always put things off because it was easier. Once I actually started they were generally fine.

Enjoy your tootling - such a lovely expression.

Oooh how exciting! :T Been meaning to ask you if you'd got round to it yet. Hope it goes well :D

I've discovered there is a teacher very near me but not been brave enough to get in touch yet :o I think one of the reasons I'm feeling so unsettled at the moment is that the tootling has brought back lots of memories of school, music college etc and a bit of kicking myself over not keeping it up.. but then, regrets are pretty pointless, and I am enjoying it when I play which is the main thing *beats self over head until that sinks in*
Do you fancy some more duetting at some point soon?

    yes yes YES!

And don't beat yourself about not carrying on (although I'm doing a little bit of the same :o) You would have ended up completely somewhere different if you had and just look at the cheery things you're doing now that you might never have done otherwise! Onwards and upwards I say! :T :T

Let me get this lesson out of the way on Friday then we can arrange a cheery time! :T :T

Fantastic :D And very true, I wouldn't be where I am now if I'd done other things :)

Ohh the piccolo and violin arrived while I was off too - the piccolo is ancient but plays OK now that I've cleaned the mould out of the inside  Violin is lovely, the sound I can make with it is less so (although I did bash out a passable 'Ode to Joy' by the end of the weekend) :rotfl:

Ahh.. I feel much better this afternoon. Work is still fluctuating between boring and annoying, but I have finished the essay :T .. finished the application form :T (will send in the morning)... and emailed the flute teacher :T

I have also eaten a large amount of sandwiches, and Mr S has had a free buffet at lunch, so badminton should be an interesting experience.. we'll either have tons of energy or be lolloping about like big elephants :D
