Ah no not the tootling-related one, decided I need a bit more practice/ experience for that. Just found out about this today, it's a local charity involved with food growing (subtle clue there
) who are advertising some jobs

Sounds Perfick to me:DBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -
Potentially perfick indeed Bob
It's under News on their website Cheery
I would imagine they'll get LOADS of applications but worth finding out about anyway I think.
Ten minutes till the weekend for me and the sun is actually shining!Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
Woo hoo! How exciting about a potential job - at least applying lets you see where you are in the market.
Have a lovely weekend!2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Morning... back at work, yawn! Had a lovely few days doing all the things that I would generally rather be doing than work - gardening, sewing (finished the patchwork blanket), tootling, walking on the moors (saw a lizard! picked wild bilberries!), wandering round markets, reading lots.. got a book about fermentation and now have assorted brews on the go
The part-time job(s).. hmm.. well, I got the job descriptions through and to my mind they've grouped the tasks a bit strangely - or maybe just not how they'd suit me - there isn't one of the roles that I think fits me perfectly. They also seem to want more experience of certain things than I've got. But I will print them all out and have a proper look through and think about it.
Second job things are sounding interesting at the moment, the scheme is being expanded to include other angles and I've been asked to help develop the new website/ learning materials. Got an 'event' with them tomorrow night so should find out more there.
Three day week again this week :T Lots to catch up on though (why does it always get busy when I'm off?) and an essay due in 12 days which I have yet to make a proper start on, so that's my priority for this week.Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
Hiya!
I love the way you go for things straight away when you hear about them - you get a book about fermentation, thats it, you read it and ferment stuffimmediately
I think it might be said that I prevaricate :rotfl:
Glad your time away was so great :j2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
:rotfl: I didn't used to be like that, but now I do seem to have these moments of 'yeah lets just do it!' Kitchen is starting to look like some sort of laboratory with jars of curious bubbling thingsDebt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0
