Oh no, seeing those lovely dresses is making it very hard for me to try and resist the Dotty Ps sale!! x0

Sorry Jaffacake!
They did have some nice things in, although there was some pretty awful stuff too! Really pleased with the cherry one as I've been looking for something like that for ages, and it was the last one in the shop

Thanks! Hope we get a bit more summery weather to wear them (although they will no doubt end up being wintery too with tights/ leggings).Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0

Yawn, tired today. Started on essay notes last night, and made rather nice pasta with wild garlic pesto and a garden salad (complete with caterpillar which Mr S nearly ate :rotfl:)
Agreed this morning (after I had to put new dresses on the bed in spare room as nowhere to hang them) that we need to sort out more/better clothes storage so that's a fun project for the weekend maybe! I seem to be wearing a lot more dresses (and shorts for some reason) - I think it's my 'good life' dream to be swanning round my smallholding in a dress
And as a complete aside, just come across these amazing designs for homewares - lusting after tea towels! http://www.ferm-living.com/ (do people really pay 67 euros for a cushion?)Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
Love the clothes Squizzy and the tuna sachets are John West flavoured ones. A*da sometimes have them on a deal. Thanks for your kind words on my diary too X'The road to a friends house is never long'0

hi! *pops in for quick wave* will be back for a proper nose round later, and have noted down your 'roast potatoes/everything thrown together and a bit of cheese on top' from your looking back at old Tesco spends post - sounds lovely!

Thanks Souk and Lionhearted
I could really do with bringing back a few of those old bargain food habits - slipped a bit with work lunches (hence the need for tuna sachets or something in the drawer) and seem to be buying a lot of extra snacks during the day - mostly fruit strangely enough but ready prepared mango chunks aren't very cheap or food-mile friendly *looks guiltily at packet on desk*
Also had forgotten how good 'throw it all together' meals are - Mr S is somewhat cynical of my food experiments of this type but they often end up being some of the best meals.
Now I've woken up a bit I've remembered that I have some exciting things to look forward to in the next week - big farmers market on Saturday, night in by myself on Monday as Mr S going out with work, first attempt at badminton on Tuesday and tootling with Cheery on Wednesday. Not to mention payday on Thursday!Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
