Just had a looksee - *very* nice, very arty too - and incidentally, I was posting everything twice, so now I've also learnt I can delete fb posts :)

It was a good place for arty pics :) Aargh, still tired today.. spent yesterday evening watering/ tying up plants/ removing large snails/ admiring the salad/ wondering what to do with loads of turnips and giant garlic/ looking at cheap flights again!

Get paid by second job on Friday - quite excited to see how much that actually is :)

Garlicked roast turnip? Unusual, definitely :) You're bound to be tired, I guess, after such a holiday and such a catchup with the garden. Take some time to sit at that lovely little garden table of yours :)

Hmm garlic turnips might be good. We also have lots of chard and some peas ready :) Had an amazing salad last night with all sorts of leaves and flowers in it.

Not much sitting at the garden table last night but a good chunk of studying. Popped out a couple of times to try and see the eclipse but was too cloudy - quite a nice night though, really quite warm.. shame that the streets round us were rather chaotic with drunken teenagers though!

Sorted out a study plan from now till October, when my exam is - doesn't look like all that many weeks when you actually write it down

Anyway, today will be mostly about just getting through work.. definitely got the post holiday blaaahs.

Sorry about the blaahs. And the rain. The number of weeks - I think it was Firewalker that counted the number of weekends till her youngest boy turns 16 - its horrifyingly few looked at in those terms

Still, we try! And we *tried* to see the eclipse :)

I think the blaahs might be kind of permanent with work. Been trying to find ways of getting other experience but not finding it easy! Yes I remember seeing that on FW's thread (I think MG has done it on her blog too).. 18 weeks till my exam and 15 weeks until I start my new course, so the plan is part finish this one and part get ready for that one. I think I've lost track a bit of remembering to enjoy now as well as planning ahead.. hmm.

Well a bit of good news in the middle of the blaahs - found an online volunteering opportunity for helping to write/ edit online courses - applied and they emailed back straight away, asked for my CV and then asked me to sign up and have already given me a course which has been half-done to finish writing (basically have to proofread and edit the chapters and write introductions for them based on the content). Rather pleased :T Plus arranged a date to go tootling with Cheery - hooray :D

Wow! With enough things like that, even bleargh work can be okay - or at least, it can pass. Sounds fantastic!

Yep, I could do with more things like that - hopefully if I can get a bit of experience doing it voluntarily, I might be able to get some paid work like that in future.

Talking of which - no pay from second job today.. grr :( I'm sure it was meant to be 17th.. have to chase that up. Grrr.

Today I have the joys of a mini-presentation at 12.15, and then trying to stick together a load of messy complicated figures and attempt to make sense of them.

    Thank monkeys it's Friday!
