Oh yes, breakfast outside is fantastic :) Laksa is Malaysian (I think!) - very spicy.

Just found out how to get into the car park at work (properly, as opposed to the other week when I wandered round it and thought I was locked in).. so I can now cycle in and park safely in there! :T

Ahh breakfast in the garden again - lovely! Leaving Mr S and Little Miss Cat stretched out in bed this morning - lovely for them, not for me! Boiling hot office - not lovely at all!

Anyway, it's Friday.. spent last night studying and got through loads. Want to read another chapter today.. and also get last of eBay things sent (remind me not to sell 22 things at the same time again, it's been a long week of waiting for payments and wrapping things). Off to bike check thingy tomorrow and hopefully more of a cycle somewhere. Also lots of washing and thinking about packing for next week, more studying, more brainstorming re flexible jobs... and then two more days of work and I'm freeeeee!

Oh yes, and I was lying awake this morning trying to figure out how much money I needed to save to retire at different ages lol.. didn't come to any sensible conclusions except that it is something like 102 months till I'm 40.. useful to know... lol

Oh that sounds good! About retiring, I mean - I must say, whatever else I think about Tim Ferriss, I *really* disagree with him on the issue of permanent retirement - i.e. I could have that *right now*, lol ...

Morning... am I on holiday yet?! Well, not quite, but just two days to go :j

Weekend was fun - went out to cycle to the free bike check thingy on Saturday, but it was really busy, so we went off to waste time for an hour as instructed by bike check man.. ended up in a park where there was a big 'peace' festival on so had a look round.. back to bike chech man who was now even more busy but told us that some colleagues of his were down at the festival... so back down there, got bikes checked over and adjusted a bit, had a chat with LETS people and the people from a really interesting renewable energy project. They are doing a scheme were you can make a small investment in their water turbine project, and once it's up and running and they're selling electricity to the grid, you get, well, profit! So seriously considering putting something into that as a long term investment and all round good green thing.

Anyway, after our 3 hour long bike ride, back for lunch, pottered round garden, did some studying and fell asleep!

Yesterday was packing, washing, buying last minute holiday things, more studying, sorting out a rough itinerary for holiday, experimenting with fake tan in order not to startle the good people of Estonia with my very white legs in shorts (forecast is to be about 25-30C so shorts will be needed I think). Tan looked good last night but has gone a bit too dark and a little bit patchy this morning so I've sprayed in the patches and will have a good scrub later!

Still to do - worky stuff (bah!), get euros, post last few eBay things, print out parking booking and map for hotel, a few bits of ironing (bah!) and attempt to read one more chapter of OU book. I really need this holiday!

Thanks Karma.. it looks amazing - medieval buildings, botanical gardens, lots of walks in forests and beaches, lots of nice food. This first hour today has dragged though - aargh!
