    Morning!

    flapjack (which fell apart :rotfl:)

Mine either falls apart, or the classic was when I made some in a new non-stick backing tray, unfortunately the non-stick came off in lumps attached to the flapjack :o

Oh dear :rotfl: Weirdly the flapjack seems to have solidified a bit more today, although I had some earlier and my desk looked like a budgie had been let loose on it!

When it says "non-stick" it means "to the tray" - didn't you know? ;)

Isn't the internet funny.. having a quiet day so just browsing on Facebook and found that one of my friends (someone my mum used to work with who now has a wedding photography business) is 'friends' on there with someone who Mr Squizz works with (who has a wedding stationary business as well as working in the same place as Mr S) - don't know if they actually know each other or just a business association... weird though, that one lives where I used to live and one lives where I am now (and her hubby is meant to be coming round to help us with some joinery work)!

Just realised we are 30 days into the 50 day challenge! So time for an update..

    1. Finish mentoring course and arrange next steps
One week to go, and am ahead with my assignments. All good feedback so far. Still not heard anything re teaching, and not sure what I'll do next in this area.

    2. Finish philosophy course and arrange next steps
A few days left on this course, have completed all the work and submitted my assignment. Enrolled (and paid!) on OU course and started some background reading. Worked out credit transfer arrangements for OU degree.

    3. Post on blog at least 2 times a week and build up a following
Plodding along with this. Have had about 200 views on my main blog since I started which isn't too bad.

    4. Get debt down to £7k
Down to £7182 so December payday (before Christmas) should sort this out.

    5. Lose 10lb
    Lost 3lb.

    6. Do something to work on my lack of confidence
Up and down although I do feel that the courses I've been on and a few events have helped me make big steps. Have done some things that I would definitely have avoided before (awkward phone calls etc). Off to another course tomorrow on confident communicating.

Generally happy with all of that, although most of it was stuff I was doing anyway so it doesn't feel like a massive achievement.. now what can I do next year....

I have one thing to say today.. SNOOOOOOOW! Oh and also - why do I have to come to work in it?! :(

Fell out of the door into knee deep snow and trudged to work, got into office, went out again to course, course was cancelled, trudged back to office. Some lovely pictures on my Facebook of the journey in!

Mr S is at home, as his work is closed - so unfair!

You poor thing! I'm sitting in my bedroom at the computer, but its quite cold - I have to air the house (well, I want to air the house) before clients come each day so all the windows are open. And I thought I was imagining it, but the wind just shifted, and I was getting the full snow shower *inside* - so this window has to be pulled to a little bit :)

Hope you warm up soon after that trudge.

KC I like to air the bedroom too but haven't wanted to open the window when it's so cold. I am burning a candle while sitting here on the comp - hoping it freshens up the room.

If it was just me, Ellidee, I would too, but I have clients coming into the house who're paying a good whack per hour, so I need to be sure of myself .....

Oh yeah, dead fragrant , me :rotfl: client had to cancel, no guarantee of trains south of East Croydon, so the windows are closed, the heat is on, and the pasta for lunch is about to go on :D
