    Vanilla-ey - lovely!

Back at work again this morning although it's pretty similar to yesterday, hoping we get away early again (especially as I have a meeting this afternoon I don't really want to go to). Me and Mr S had a good bargain-hunting trip round Waitrose yesterday and then spent the afternoon doing not very much... which sounds nice but to be honest I got a bit fed up and grumpy. Dunno what's up with me, feel a mixture of bored, tired, edgey, anxious.. I think I need some proper time off. I also think I need a bit of time to myself - I realised yesterday that the only time I get to myself is walking to and from work!

Oh well, off for a cup of tea and a bit of snow watching...

Fingers crossed for another early finish for you Squizz. We all need a bit of space and 'me' time I think. Hope you manage to sort something out in that direction. xx

Definitely! I'd be feeling really irritable without me time, alone - you've only just moved in properly, thats the kind of thing to pay attention to now, its "normal", if anything is ever normal :)

Survived the horrible meeting - actually it wasn't too horrible, but it wasn't entirely fun. Still felt belittled by the people involved but I held my own I think.

The time to myself thing is strange - it's not like I'm spending any more time at home than I was, but I guess in this weather we are a bit more stuck in together. And I know I don't have that 'escape' to my own flat any more (not that I want to escape - it's not that bad!).

I think I'm just feeling a bit rubbish and everything is getting a bit on top of me - including silly little things that I get paranoid about!

You held you're own - thats the point, you *weren't* belittled - they tried, thats their problem. They couldn't stick their sh** onto you because you held your own, so you emerge unscathed

Its a psychological thing, exactly as you've realised - you don't want to escape, but because you can't, it doesn't feel good.

Winter has come *so* early, its pretty oppressive. Its not just you!

Back again... took my time getting home yesterday, just enjoyed wandering along taking photos of the snow and then had a look round Waitrose (and came out with loads of reduced meat for a fiver!).. OK evening, didn't do much really. Mr S off work again today and really didn't want me to have to leave this morning :o Still feeling a bit unsettled but I guess there will always be these little things to work through.

I'm thinking about having a day/ afternoon off next week - I've got a Groupon voucher to use before 14th for a facial, foot massage and weird fish pedicure thing. It also includes a manicure but I don't have much in the way of nails to do anything with. Might be nice to do that and get a few last bits of Christmas shopping done.

Attempting to have an easy day at work today, although I do have a load of what can only be described as 'stupid' queries to get through!
