I'm definitely going to be doing at least one class in the New Year, too right.

I must remember how people wear "dresses" these days - not on their own, but as part of a layered look.... aargh.

This is quite a new thing for me - I used to just wear dresses with cardigans over and tights under. I like the jumper underneath look though, and in this weather, all layers are good!

There's a few of us needing to go out and do new things in the New Year then ;)

Morning! Working on the same job pretty much all day today - it's pretty mindnumbing but it needs to be done.

Slipped on the ice last night on the way home :o Bruised my knee and bent my thumb back so feeling a bit achy and sorry for myself. And OWWW it's cold this morning!

Feeling a bit more positive today though, mainly I think due to sorting out a couple of ongoing problems at work yesterday - and unexpectedly meeting one of the people I'd been sorting them out for at a training course in the afternoon.. she turned out to be lovely and much less scary than I'd imagined from our phonecalls! Was a good course actually (about supporting students with problems) and I was happy with myself for speaking out enough with my ideas and views.

Today's outfit is very similar to yesterday's but with a different dress..

(oh and I'm not blonde or that thin :rotfl:)

Got to pop out at lunchtime for a few things from Boots and might try to buy my secret santa present for work - I have a fiver to buy something for a woman I hardly know!

I feel cold just looking at that dress! But I remember there was a range of stuff you were wearing the other one with yesterday, so hopefully you're warm :)

Oh yes don't worry there are just as many layers as yesterday!

I fell over on the ice again at lunchtime - on the same knee and hand as yesterday, ouch!

I've been wearing my walking boots but even they can't cope with some of the ice - might need to get some ice grip things

It was really cold last night!

Feeling quite tired and achy - nearly fell over again on the way home, and very nearly slid into the slid of a moving car

Long boring job to do today, and possibly popping out at lunchtime to attempt to finish off Christmas shopping (without falling over if I can!)

Today's outfit is angora and tweed (TK Maxx and charity shop!)..

Had an interesting conversation with a DFWer (you know who you are :)) yesterday about personal development and challenging myself - I need, no WILL be doing something about my lack of confidence and nerves. In fact make that I AM doing something... lets just say there may be some scary challenges ahead!

ps 13 days till I'm off for Christmas! :j

Sounds good to me - but omigod, those heels! You must be confident if you wear those heels!
