What is the age gap between your kids?

Hi, i have just been reading the Pregnancies Best kept secrets thread and found it hilarious, I noticed a lot of people were stating their childrens ages and just wondered what age gaps we all have between our kids.

I have kids age 19 and 16 and baby of 2yrs, she was a surprise and like some on the other thread I had forgotten most of the things that go along with being pregnant, the only thing I will say is that the whole pregnancy journey i.e midwifes, antenatal etc was almost exactly as I remembered it being which was a pleasant surprise.

The funny thing is that nearly everytime I buy her something my older kids say, we never had anything like that when we were kids, its funny because they see themselves as all grown up now but would cry like babies if they did not get their Christmas Stockings on Christmas morning.

I am just made up that I can start the whole magic of Christmas thing all over again, you know the fairies are coming to put up the decorations etc, I really am looking forward to Christmas this year and now thanks to this site, I will be making it a very very happy money saving bargain getting Christmas, I am really going to enjoy this one. ;)

15, 13,10 and 8,finally waved them off to school/nursery and thought I was all done and dusted and definately didn't want any more but someone up there with a sense of humour decided I needed twins now aged 4!!! Of course I wouldn't be without them now.....but life is full of surprises...:)
  • I definately agree, I would have another one tomorrow if I had the room, but we are bulging at the seams at the moment.

    DS1 is nearly 7, DS2 is 16 months.

I like having a gap between them....but wouldn't say no to having another one fairly soon though:D

17 and 12 for the stepchildren - they also have a half-brother of 6 from their mother, and she miscarried another one last year. I reckon she's got time to churn out 2 more before the menopause hits ;)
The ability of skinny old ladies to carry huge loads is phenomenal. An ant can carry one hundred times its own weight, but there is no known limit to the lifting power of the average tiny eighty-year-old Spanish peasant grandmother.

Fortunately only 12 & 9 still at home

PS And also a large balding one of 40 something - oh, hang on, no he's not one of my children. He just behaves like that sometimes   :p

You cannot live as I have lived an not end up like me.

Oi you lot - please :heart:GIVE BLOOD  - you never know when you and yours might need it back! 67 pints so far.

16 and 15 - fourteen months between them. It was fine til about a year ago, then they both turned into raging-hormone-monsters :D Son started getting stroppy about 2 years ago, daughter about 18 months ago. I could cope with the stropiness, but now they're a nightmare

I would like to leave home :rotfl:
