In my experience you have to work to be paid, what they should be saying is where is my hand out.
I have to work very hard to keep warm and if it's too cold it's impossible to work anyway then I won't get a free £25 token from the condems
Those who are ENTITLED to these "handouts" have every right to ask about them, if you don't ask you don't get!
There are some green eyed folk around who seem really p****d at the fact that what others are ENTITLED to they don't get.

My brother worked for years and was then struck down by a serious illness which prevented him from leading a normal working life.
In the past I might have expressed similar sentiments to yours, but then a harsh dose of reality made me realise that any of us, at any time, can fall into difficult circumstances and need a bit of help.
I used to judge people without knowing them. I used to be resentful of people I saw getting `handouts` I had arbitrarily decided they didn't deserve. I don't do that anymore.0 -

How DARE you tarr everyone with the same brush. Im entitled to a CWP. This is because I care for my severely disabled son, who at the age of just turned 4 went into a wheelchair. He is in pain day and night and with the disease he has, if it gets cold it makes it a lot worse. I also have 3 other children to care for.
I probably work a damn sight harder than a lot with 9-5 jobs so please do NOT just tarr everyone the same.
NOBODY SHOULD FEEL GUILTY ABOUT CLAIMING AND ASKING FOR BENEFITS THEY ARE ENTITLED TO. JUST LIKE NOBODY WOULD FEEL GUILTY ABOUT GOING TO THE NHS WITH A BROKEN LEG !!!!0 -
Have many of you recieved your cwp yet? There have been 2 generated for my area but no payment into bank so far.0

Very well said. The individual who is leaving these ignorant, narrow minded and insulting posts is so obviously a troll. There are so many reasons why someone may find themselves suddenly needing to claim benefits and they would be mad not to claim what they are entitled too. That is why you pay your tax and ni contributions all your working life.
How come the ignorant person insulting us has the time to be on here writing stupid posts when they should be working hard at their full time job. I pity the ignorance :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -

I've not received mine yet, but I remember a delay last year as mine is paid with the disability top up through child tax credit for my son. They had to do them all manually last year!0
