I am on E.S.A. I have a 3yr old daughter, I have not received my cold weather payment yet, it is -2°c outside and 9°c indoors. When am I getting my payment? I live in PR2 2DD area.0

It says within 14 days - so depending which week triggered it, you should get it pretty soon.
Not sure if it goes in with your next normal payment or separately though?
Agreed RE:IB, seems unfair I can get it and Dad can't simply as he's on an older benefit - as we're in the same household it doesn't matter as much as mine will be going towards heating, but if he were living alone he'd be at a disadvantage.0 -
There's a Cold Weather Payment thread for this winter at

which is at the top of the forum page. It may help you if you post there rather than in this one...0 -

Quick question, last year i was sent cheques/giros for the CWP but i saw on the direct.giv site that it says you get paid automatically. Noe does this mean straight into my account or will i get a giro again? I tried to ring earlier but couldn't get through as per bloody usual. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
