I make it about 1000m away, just have to compromise and go for a quick walk.0 -

£35K
It is not quiet a house yet, more a house of god, but at £35K got to be the best building.
No party's that can wake the dead though, they are by the front door.

He loves that property0 -
Beautiful for £35K though, I was shocked, looking at it on street view is even better, there are about 8 graves there.
If I wanted to get away from the world, that would be on the list to be honest.
Alive or dead?
Certainly seems to have possiblity to raise a bit of extra income for a new owner.0 -
I think Really2 should be declared winner for finding that little gem although as its a renovation project I guess it technically breaks the rules but I love it.MF aim 10th December 2020 :j:eek:MFW 2012 no86 OP 0/20000

Ah, but I think I can beat it by £5k. My church is in a less Welsh speaking area too, and I already have a business plan....

How about this as a church for non church-goers to get married in, especially now that a lot of vicars have gone right off white weddings for those outwith the usual flock....
No need to actually go to church, muck-about reading the banns or any of that nonsense, and you'd allow Auntie Doris to chuck as much confetti as she liked without fear of upsetting the vicar. The place is quite photogenic, so if you bought a video camera and a cheap second-hand Roller, your family could organise both the photography and the transport too....
Then there's funerals. Plenty of room yet in that churchyard. Again, celebrants are getting funny about the type of music they allow these days, so here would be the ideal place to play 'Another One Bites the Dust' or 'Comfortably Numb.'
I tell you, this is the right opportunity for someone.*
*No sea view though0 -
That is where Sir Bobby Charlton was born,'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0 -

Wondered why only one interior photograph - and then spotted that kitchen and bathroom are in the basement! Wonder what state they are in?0 -

Although it's showing as sold in 2005 for £40k http://www.houseprices.co.uk/e.php?q=6+Berw+Road%2C+Mayhill%2C+Swansea%2C+SA1&n=100
Reason could be - it looks like its in a Council Estate. Dont know that area - but maybe its in a sink estate - ie the person who did it up hopes that someone who doesnt know the area will buy it. But - all "lookers" so far DO know the area....0 -

Nice looking place - what happens about the graves and how likely are "travellers" to start camping out nearby?
Bar those 2 considerations....yep...good if one could afford the heating bills...(those high ceilings).0
