Doesn't look too bad at all: http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-27208402.html - £44,950
But just Google Streetview it - to the front ... looks like the front 'garden' might be an ASBO Crew meeting spot... or the owner's being bullied. Odd pile of rubbish.
Oh - it's had an offer of £35k on it, so it's a repossession, on with two agents: http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-15665559.html
Agent 2 pics: http://media.rightmove.co.uk/9k/8507/15665559/8507_527559650_IMG_05_0000_max_620x414.jpg - seriously damp there....0 -
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Surrey
Here is Surrey (in red).
& the the top right of it (in pink) is London, but they are separate.
no,, for those of us who live(d) in the outer london boroughs, we are used to this factual anomoly
bromley = kent
bromley = london
some of catford = bromley = kent
but catford = se6 = london
croydon = surrey = london
crystal palace = croydon/bromley = london
but crystal palace comes under kent or surrey as well depending on what borough
sutton = london = surrey
bexley = london = kent
and so on
(its the same for the north/east and west of the city too, with essex, bucks etc)0 -

Catford & Crystal Palace aren't even outer London anymore.........
ETA You said kit yourself at the topfor those of us who live(d) in the outer london boroughs
If you pay your council tax to Surrey you live in Surrey, Kent you live in Kent & one of the London boroughs then London.
This confusion comes from the olden days when London was much smaller & these areas that are part of London now were countryside & part of the home counties.
But if you live in the London borough of XXXXXX & pay your council tax to the Lonbdon borough of XXXXXX why would you think you didn't live in London?0 -
Because you live in Surrey.

Can we get back to £45k houses now??
I told the boys on the other thread, where they're squabbling, that there's no squabbling here ... so we need to keep that up.0 -
The forest would be very silent if no birds sang except for the birds that sang the best0

Thats quite nice, quite wide.
Some of these sub 45k houses are silly narrow, they don't look like they are 12 foot wide:eek:0 -

This one is slightly less than £45,000 ....... in fact you could buy 9 of them.
Nothing in your rules about which country the property is located

12' wide's quite wide for a lot of houses... old and new.Thats quite nice, quite wide.

Years ago I went to view a house with a friend - it was about 6' wide!!
It was on at £70k, in about 1988, then the crash of the late 80s started and just 3 months later (or less) the house next door to it, which was double the width, went on at £70k. Madness.

It'd be a clear winner, except it's an auction property - so probably priced super low to stimulate lots of interest.
A couple have gone for £43-46k there this year though: http://www.houseprices.co.uk/e.php?q=juliet+street+ashington&n=10
Edit: They paid £23,500 for it in 2000: http://www.houseprices.co.uk/e.php?q=juliet+street+ashington+113&n=10 (posted it onto the wrong post earlier, doh!)0
