It might sound mad but that area's all right - look at the hanging basket. It's on a corner, with a hanging basket.... or "a target for ne'er do wells" - yet they still have it, they bother.... that means there are unlikely to be scallies around looking for people to annoy.Found this, will have to send the link to my DD

£117,500 not bad :-)
When I go out driving around estates, one of my "indicators" is: how much stuff can I see lying around, pots/tubs, open carports with goodies in them .....
The more stuff I can see lying around that could just be lifted ... the better the area is or they'd not be leaving the stuff out.0 -

Surrey is a county like any other county in the UK & quite separate from London
London is made up of many boroughs (areas) - one of which is Croydon

Because they like to think they live in Surrey:rotfl:
They are within London & pay their council tax to the LONDON borough of Croydon not Surrey Council;)0 -
Well, as long as I've been on this earth I've always known all postal addresses to say Croydon, Surrey. They've always done it. Anyway, it's all virtually next door.Because they like to think they live in Surrey

And for an interesting business venture I was most taken with this:
