As there are plenty in Bulgaria at £5k, I kind of figured it went without sayinghttp://www.kyero.com/property/1305140-villa-for-sale-nueva-torrevieja
This one is slightly less than £45,000 ....... in fact you could buy 9 of them.
Nothing in your rules about which country the property is located

Just looked for the 6' wide house: http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=newmarket+road,+cambridge&sll=53.800651,-4.064941&sspn=10.312438,33.222656&ie=UTF8&hq=&hnear=Newmarket+Rd,+Cambridge,+United+Kingdom&ll=52.210144,0.145226&spn=0.00522,0.016265&z=16&layer=c&cbll=52.210223,0.145197&panoid=hnXYRSW8uUwCxUpEWQXE0Q&cbp=12,334.39,,1,-2.24
It last sold for £166,500 in 2004: http://www.houseprices.co.uk/e.php?q=285+newmarket+road+cambridge&n=100 Digging around a bit more, I see it achieved £51k in March 1996.
So that's what the last crash did to that house:
1988: £70k
1996: £51k
The house that was wider was to the right of it, it's been replaced it seems. I remember it used to be an old butchers' shop and in the house we looked round the wall in the kitchen had the paint peeling, which we were told was because of the years that salted hams were hung in the butchers on the other side of the wall. Upstairs the bedrooms were just big enough to get a bed in, with only 2' of space along one side. Tiny it was.
I see the current one to its left, that's not large either, sold for £215k earlier this year: http://www.houseprices.co.uk/e.php?q=283+newmarket+road+cambridge&n=100
They only had rear yards, nowhere for a car or garage.0 -
I saw an outhouse on sale for under £45k.
But it was in a sh*tty area.0 -

£35K

It is not quiet a house yet, more a house of god, but at £35K got to be the best building.
No party's that can wake the dead though, they are by the front door.0 -
Bet that'll end up as some rich sod's holiday home/holiday let!0 -

Beautiful for £35K though, I was shocked, looking at it on street view is even better, there are about 8 graves there.
If I wanted to get away from the world, that would be on the list to be honest.0 -
Yeah, I google street-viewed it ... I was tempted.
If it'd had a sea view that'd have been me logged off
