You're not buying the property, you're buying the remainder of the lease, which is probably a full fixing and repairing lease too.

So you'd probably be paying a rent too, maybe.

That looks pretty good internally, and the estate looks reasonably well cared-for, despite the incredibly ugly design and communist state type layout. Another repo, so I wonder if the kitchen is all there.;)

Looking at Streetview, I think anyone might have problems finding their way home there after a few :beer:.

With local knowledge, it would probably turn out to be unfinished/abandoned, illegal ... with feral gangs running around in the hillsides and the main road stops 2 miles away

Sounds nice. If it were "legit" I'd buy it and just sit there for 2 years staring at the water... I love water.

Hey guys, here you go - under budget at £43k. Granted it's in Banbridge, Northern Ireland and needs a bit of work done to it. It is however liveable in and even has a white bathroom suite. Can't be bad!
