Anyone come across an app that will allow you to add information to a place name eg you find a restaurant and you add information like good food

    Trip advisor?
    Google places?
Use both and find them pretty good

Galaxy S2 i9100 NO rooting app yet .

    Z4root i
works on older firmware versions of SGS 1 but not later firmware.

Might be of use on SGS1 does not work on SGS2 .

    http://shortfuse.org/

Rooting voids your warranty ref Samsung letter to all service centres .

My kids love Angry Birds so I don't want to remove it, but I stupidly let it upgrade this morning, as we were rushing out of the door (well, youngest was dawdling as usual but hey ho :rotfl:). I thought I'd cancelled it, but later noticed it had successfully upgraded.

So what? Well, for those who may be interested, Angry Birds has increased it's permissions. It now wants(/needs?) access to:
    Permissions

This application has access to the following:

    • Your locationcoarse (network-based) location
Access coarse location sources such as the cellular network database to determine an approximate device location, where available. Malicious applications can use this to determine approximately where you are.
    • Network communicationfull Internet access
Allows an application to create network sockets.
    • Phone callsread phone state and identity
Allows the application to access the phone features of the device. An application with this permission can determine the phone number and serial number of this phone, whether a call is active, the number that call is connected to and the like.
    • Storagemodify/delete USB storage contents modify/delete SD card contents
Allows an application to write to the USB storage. Allows an application to write to the SD card.

    Show all
    • Network communicationview network state
Allows an application to view the state of all networks.
      view Wi-Fi state
Allows an application to view the information about the state of Wi-Fi.
    Greedy birds!!

Don't know if/how to undo/rollback the upgrade, so guess I'll have to remove it.. boys won't be pleased.
