I haven't used emulation before. Do you just install it and play games available on that or do you have to buy the games from elsewhere. You mentioned quite a few emulators, can you give your preference order please for others to try out if they are not used to emulators. Does it need the phone to be rooted etc.

rom gripper is all you need to find emulaters and roms for free and your phone does not have to be rooted
  • Does anyone know if there is a way to move all apps from phone memory to sd card?

I have moved some but it doesn't give me the option to move others or is this down to the makers of the app?

It is down to the app manufactures, however it can be done anyway, need to either root your phone, or use Google's ADB program to send a command to the phone.

It's not overly complicated, but will involve a little fiddling :)

The above in bold was going to be my next question! How do I go about it and what does rooting it actually do?

Root is a bit like jailbreaking an iPhone, it gives you more control over things/the possibility of extra features such as screenshots & adjusting CPU speeds.

As for how to, it depends on your phone somewhat, some are easier than others, although it's mostly a one-click app based solution now.

I must review my thoughts on the Places app which I commented upon earlier.

    It is brilliant in London.

Sadly it is absolutely sh!te in Glasgow

So on a HTC Wildfire how would I go about doing so?

Would I also be able to remove things that came already on the phone for example Youtube (which wont play without jumping all the way through no matter what i try!).
