Hell no - you'll have to evict me :D.

Becoming debt free is ( I reckon) a bit like finally getting to your ideal weight; I'll need to stay around for a while, to make sure I dont slip back to my bad old ways.

Let's not forget that I am the person who 'glowed' with Davina & rationed my food intake for an entire 10 days, lost 4lbs & then regained it all in the course of one bready weekend whilst under the illusion that having lost 4lbs means carry on as normal . Idiot.

I feel kack today :(. first day of the attack phase of the weight loss plan & I have had a headache all day, feel utterly exhausted & drained. I know the headache is from detoxing all the caffeine & sugar that runs through my veins, but it's never been this intense. I'm on protein for the next 3/4 days & can then add in veg to accompany the protein on alternating days until I reach my target weight.

I had to have scrambled eggs for lunch & I really dont like them much - unless on a slab of toast which is drowning in butter. I'm going to try to only have eggs every 3 or 4 days. They give me a headache too.

I've not done any exercise since stabbing myself - too scared of opening it up again. Thanks to my intensive cleaning, vintage germolene & obsessive use of plasters every 3 hours I think the skin is now healing over, although if I bend my hand back too far it does feel as though the skin is splitting . All the swelling has gone & I just need to be careful not to put any weight or pressure directly on the wound as that makes me feel quite weak as it still F***ing hurts :o.

As to your query about TKMaxx makeup - errr, ummmm, welllll, there was a smallish incident in there ...

    Well ok then,

the original point of today's shopping trip was to get some bits for DD who still insists on growing. First stop was Primarni for some cheap leggings & undies for her. I recently heard mention of the price of cotton rocketing which will mean increases for we shoppers so I prudently decided to get a couple - ok 6 - vest tops in neutral colours which will see me through the rest of the year. Total spend in there was £18.

Next stop H&M as DD is needing more shorts ... that was another £9.99 & my virtue o meter is still firmly stuck on 'prudent purchasing'. Then into River Island where my pennies are safe as much as I love their jeans, I'm not buying anything in my current size. DD spots a great bunny rabbit style hat ( with ears & tail :rotfl:) but chooses to buy it herself with her saved up pocket money :j.

Then we wander into TKMAxx & I baulk at paying £15 for a comic relief t-shirt. (I've already donated some cash by phone) So do many other people judging by the amount of them picking them up & then putting them down again when they see the price. Designer or not, £15 is a lot to pay for a t-shirt that really only has a very short lifespan. Actually, in my mind £15 is quite a lot to pay for a t-shirt full stop.

I see loads of fabby random kitchen items but am not allowed to buy any :( I see even more fabby decorative type items & when dragged away I resolve to return next week when on my own :p.

Then we arrive at the shoe dept & that's where it always goes wrong ... I was really keen to find some trainers for DD but there was nothing she liked in her size. And then I saw them. The magenta pink converse hi-tops that were caling me over, winking & just begging to be tried on. I did, they fit :D

DD declared that she loved them, she tried them & said they fit her too ( I think she was lying) They were £10 less than anywhere else & they came home with us. I agreed to add a couple of extra pounds to the bill as a donation to comic relief to assuage my guilt over the t-sirts & then spending more than that on something I want.

Ownership has not yet been finalised but I'm determined to win & in a shameful yet cunning swipe of sheer brilliance I came up with the idea of offering to buy her a pair in another colour. She's thinking about it. Thing is I didnt even want pink ones, but the minute I saw them, I had to have them.

The rest of the trip passed without further incident; I collected my lenses & bought more solution & we got the present for DDs friend.

I do have more news but my head is making me feel so drowsy I'm going to bed now so will continue tomorrow.

    Gnight
    xx

Well, the headache has subsided somewhat but my energy is still low. Apparently this should reverse by day 4.

I did a fair bit of research before embarking on this plan & I also got the free assessment & timescale off the official website. My target weight was just 4lbs under theirs so I'm happy about that & they reckon that as long as I stick to the plan, I'll reach that target weight by 23rd April.

I did have to buy some new food & it was actually very interesting as I usually just grab our regular products & dont take a lot of notice of other things. I bought lots of fish ( :undecided - not a big fan ) cottage cheese, skimmed milk & something I never knew existed - oat bran. It's quite yummy as porridge, but I cant help thinking that it would be even more yummy with a spoonful of golden syrup or brown sugar :o

All this food & stocking up on packed lunch stuff meant another £44.71p given to waitrose. Grocery budget now gone silly.

I've managed to do a load of washing & the hoovering, dropped DD off at her friends house & dont have to collect her until 7 tonight so am just going to relax & rest. Much as I do love her, I am enjoying having the place to myself - the tv & sofa in particular.

It's cold, wet & horrible outside so it'll be an afternoon of films & rugby for me :)
