Ace news on the perfume lady. I am so hungover that even typing is an effort thanks to the work night out. X'The road to a friends house is never long'0
-
Sounds like a fun day and perfume for free..what more can a girl want.0
-
Oooh what did you get? Or is this super secret information>
I recently splashed out on some Gucci Guilty which is loverly. It also comes in a gorgeous gold bottle (yes I am shallow enough that the perfume has to look fabulous on my dressing table)
I don't often buy perfume as I feel like I should use up the old one first!
I also don't really stick to one fragrance although normally have a bottle of Chanel no 19 in the corner as I love that.I've got my own flat :j:j
Now I have to pay the bills
And feed my interiors addiction0 -

A fit bloke & a bottle of wine would be fun :rotfl:
Souk - I have no sympathy; I havent had a booze fest for weeks & we're not having a christmas do which means I dont get to flirt with gorgeous guy
Seriously though hon: pletny of water, orange juice & big fry up will sort you out. Hope it passes soon.
Makeup - Absolutely yes to fabulous looking perfume bottles :j
No secrets here; I now have a pretty bottle ( shiny silver top) of Chloe. Been searching for a new scent that no one else I know has, for ages & now I have it. I must have an unusual chemical composition as so many perfumes that smell gorgeous on others are not right on me
- I've donated many bottles over time, but this one works so I'm sticking with it for a while. Just need the bag to go with it & then all will be super fabulous in Lulaville. Not any time soon though, & would actually rather have a Lulu Guinness - she's so unique.
Anyway, back to my current raison d'etre; the Dull & Dreary world of Debtbusting *yawns*. I finished all the ironing just 10 minutes & a cup of tea before DD returned so we have clean clothes for the week ahead & the home is tidier than it's been in weeks.
We've made a start on the cards - done 14, but to be honest I'm not sure I'll do it again next year. It is very time consuming & unless we have a stock of decent cards to reuse, then actually not very cheap.
As to the spends; it was £16.50 on gifts & then £29.95 on groceries. I have negative equity on the present fund & the grocery spend is fast approaching the boundary. Will have to check previous posts for accurate figures so cant be specific right now.
Have checked my account & although there are no direct debits due out this week, I think I'll hold off making a CC payment for now. I want to do the family feast shopping on friday & make sure I top up the funds with home-job wages, so dont really have any spare money.
Should have at least 3 NSDs this week, but now it's bed time.
G'night

Negative equity on the present fund! I love that :rotfl:
With the cards, I think unless you plan very carefully, or genuinely re-use stuff, it can get very expensive to buy the makings, as opposed to looking for cheap (good) ones, either in the January sales or in the poundland type shops. I've had the idea to make my own cards next year - but I'll be using postcards that I've bought over the years - they're all images that I've loved, but I can scan them for the image and then let the physical thing go, plus saving me money in the meantime - its *birthday* and occasion cards where I think the real moneysaver is on making your own cards, because we buy singles of those at £2 or so - whereas even a really nice Christmas card in a pack of 10 is 30p or something, its hard to beat that.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Wise words about the cards Karmacat :T I did manage to buy some reduced priced festive adornments, but I still think that each card is going to cost me over 50p each.
I had the most unbelievable day at work. Grumpy was out until half an hour before I left & had given me a very precise & detailed set of instructions to carry out during his absence.
Gropey & Goblin had gone on a first aid course which was badly timed as it left me in the office on my own all day - basically trying to deal with 3 extra peoples emails & calls as well as the extra work I'm already doing by covering for Highly Annoying & my own.
I was not a happy worker & snarled at Grumpy that perhaps it was time for another pay rise.
Gropey had left my desk littered with paper but no clues as to what he wanted me to do with them. Idiot . I swear that man lives in a parallel universe.
Was delighted to realise that yet again Goblin had arranged the secret Santa draw in my absence & had also taken it upon herself to rearrange man of the teams I had organised last week .
Only another 6 days to go, thankfully & the guys are trying to organise an informal meal & drinks one evening to make up for the non christmas do .
Aside from that, one of my contractors brought in some wine for us all so I now have a lovely chablis to keep me company.
I also received the Body shop order & other parcel so am now only waiting for one item. Found out this evening that it's coming fromScotland, & I know everything is held up there at the moment so not too worried. Looking forward to wrapping gifts.
It has been a NSD all day long & this evening I did the superfit workout.
I'm desperate to declare weight loss but not sure if the scales were lying this morning, so will wait to see if they say the same tomorrow before making a grand announcement :rotfl:
G'night
