Well what a way to make my first post in the same situation as you all and not amused at all. Was due to send my last payment, in all my customers thought I was havin a laugh when I told them, well I dont think any of us are laughing at the moment now.
After reading all the info I am not holding out any hope of getting anything back, defeatist I know, but we are little fish in a very big ocean and I think the sharks will win hands down.
Was looking forward to christmas,I certainly aint now.0 -

I am almost certain Watchdog and other media will cover this, this is a prime story for them, the more people that have been affected get in touch the better...0

I am struggling to believe any of us will even see a penny of our money - surely we must deserve to know where our money has gone, why are the customers never put first! What goes around comes around0 -

Well if you were owed as much individually as other 'customers' of Farepak you would be, it's just £500 against goodness knows how much to tax/suppliers etc isn't that much. Combined of course it's another matter. But that's not the way it's worked out.
As to what I said earlier Kleenez and Kitbag weren't sold earlier this year but last Friday!0 -

Cover it most definately but can they actually do anything about it? Thats the question.
I would say that the more coverage at least you'll know where you stand, ie you'll get more information than you might do otherwise.0 -

MEMBER02 wrote:HITA the hamper trade association is now cashing in on this disaster, earlier on their contact number was 01482 631410,that number as now changed to a more expensive 08450703706,these 0845 numbers are non geographical numbers and are a way of making extra income for the service provider and the companies that use them, they are also not included in any price plans operated by major phone companies,so HITA are kicking us all in the teeth by introducing a number which also they are advertising as freephone but is NOT a freephone number, and cashing in on this crisis.0
