This is staying free for now. Although in dollars the site is based in the uk
It works largely the same as cashhunt except the clues can lead to anywhere in the world rather than just the uk, and you don't know the number of letters in the solution.
You need to solve each section of the clue in turn, which will lead you to to different places until you reach the final solution.
You can submit one answer per day and the winner will be chosen at random from all correct answers.
Good luck

Suppose we might as well make a start on this while cashhunt sorts itself out
Definitely looks harder than Octobers at first glance, and they haven't put in letter spaces like they said they would, although it looks like the answer should be quite clear since it's an object and a place. I haven't got anywhere yet other than anyclone looks like an anagram, but when it comes to these I go a bit anagram crazy
hmm made a start but if I'm right they have a direction wrong?0 -

calcutta was replaced by new dehli
during the civil war of America the capital cities of the north and south seem to move all the time
http://www.virginiaplaces.org/vacities/26capitals.html
and this one lists former capital cities

The 38th parallel north is a circle of latitude that is 38 degrees north of the Earth's equatorial plane. It crosses Europe, the Mediterranean Sea, Asia, the Pacific Ocean, North America, and the Atlantic Ocean. The 38th parallel north has been especially important in the recent history of Korea.
but we also have the 38th parrellell structures in the us..

I went from there to it's partner Krakow (according to Wikipedia) which used to be capital of Poland until Warsaw, which has a steel industry, took over. However Warsaw is north of Krakow not south and I think the spelling of stele might refer to these0 -
