November work lunches challenges

Today was a bit of what I had in the fridge and pasta. I boiled the pasta and added chopped onions and peppers, drained, added half a tin of tomatoes (left over from weekend fry-up), lefted over roast chicken and some soft cheese that needed using up. It was good, tomorrow's lunch is homemade soup.0

I have been doing quite well this week, I have reached my target of 5 lunches in total. I did have a little slip up this week and bought some warm soup from the canteen because the day was soooo cold, so that's another 1/2 day that I have not included in my total.
For my personal 101 in 1001 goal of take lunch to work everyday for a week, it was never going to be a Monday-Friday week, but a rolling week. I have decided to be less hard on myself by allowing 1/2 days. As long as I make up the second half so it totals 5 days and they are consecutive, then I'll be happy.Pots: House £6966/£7100, Rainy day Complete, [STRIKE]Sunny day £0/£700[/STRIKE], IVF £2523/£2523, Car up-keep £135/£135, New car £5000/£5000, Holiday £1000/£1000, MFW #16 £2077/£3120

So far so good for me. The soup I made last Sunday finally ran out today, so tomorrow am taking HM bean & red pepper pate & a nice white roll with pumpkin seeds. Also taking some pineapple, grapes & banana as a pick-me-up during the afternoon; Friday afternoons seem to last forever so the anticipation of this will hopefully keep me going!
I am beginning to see the fruits of my labour in my jar (the actual money I would have spent on bought lunches this month) and am quite proud that I've stuck to the challenge. I firmly believe that joining this thread has really helped me, so thanks to everybody for their support x0 -
Doing well so far no bought lunches this month, on cheese sandwiches tomorrow and pumpkin soup, i am getting quite into not paying out as i used to buy bacon butty at break £1 and then 3 bought ones or more in a week, now no bacon butty, philly and ryvitas instead and whatever for lunch. Well done to everyone elseJan lunch to work days 0/200

Hi guys, sorry i've not been updating as often. I've been eating soup brought from home all week an on Friday I had lunch (fish & chips) bought for me!!! As it was children in need I did use my 1 bought lunch for that....well I bought everyone in the office a Pudsey Cupcake from Greggs - it was only £4 for the lot and I did my bit for charity so I'm counting that as my 1 lunch!
Today I have some leftover chicken from sunday lunch with some pasta and bits & pieces from the fridge, an apple and a yogurt brought from home. There have been some lovely soups i've discovered in the supermarket so will probably continue on the rest of the week with soup brought from home. Although this weekend I have learned how to make home-made jam & marmalade so may have to bring in a loaf of bread and stuff myself with toast & home-made jam.0 -

That sounds lovely - could you post the receipe please.
I found some carrots as we were tidying up the garden yesterday so made carrot, lentil and ginger soup. I really enjoyed it and have some left over for lunch tomorrow.0 -
