Can I join please? Going to allow myself one bought lunch a week (friday) and the rest from home
Today i had smoked mackrel salad brought from home :)

woops just realised I already joined this!
  • I'm having veggie soup with some cooked pasta chucked in the bottom to bulk it up a bit. Yum yum. I still have a yogurt and banana in the fridge that I brought in from home at the start of the week - gonna have the rest of the soup 2moro. I'm determined to do well this month.

Might even make a chilli this week and freeze some portions so I can have that - i'm all up for nice warm comfort food lunches.

My no spend on meals is even spreading outside of lunches - at the gym yesterday I even remembered to hunt out an old pop bottle, refilled it with tap water so I didn't get there and have to buy one from the machine (for an extortionate £1.50).
  • Im new to this challenge but count me in for all lunches this month...
Yesterday i had homemade cous cous salad and pitt.
Today ive had chorizo noodle pots (from the last rivercottage episode)
So thats 2/22 so far :)
Im also aiming to bring in my own breakfasts to work everyday too!
Proud to be dealing with my debts
  • Hey :D I'm aiming for 18 days of packed lunches, though I may be counting the 2 for 1 Innocent veg pots as packed lunches, as last month I was so lazy, I ate chickpeas and tomatoes for the whole month, and now may or may not be malnourished!

  • Woo! Check me out, 3 days of packed lunch in a row! I'm feeling particularly virtuous as I sit here eating the rhubarb yoghurt that has been languishing in the fridge because nobody wants to eat it, hehehe.

I'm starting to get a little sick of mugshots and ryvita though. Does anyone have any Slimming World friendly suggestions that might be a bit more exciting?

    Good luck.

Anyone else wanting to join or just thinking about it, just post how much you want to set yourself and your target can be just a few days a week, the saving you make will all add up and it gets easier over time when you get into the flow of making/taking your own lunches to work.
