I'm going to allow myself just 1 bought lunch this month - other than that all from home.
Having prawn salad with some cheese & crackers today. Got some lovely home-made veggie soup in the slow cooker at home....going to have that tomorrow.0 -
Ooo I'll join this one if I may - it's my first time so can I go for 4 bought lunches this month, once per week?
I've brought sandwiches, fruit and crisps from home today.0 -
Thanks for running, MrGreen!
This month is quite wonky for various reasons. I'll be on leave (for 3 weeks!!) starting on the 12th, today I had my sister in town so had to have lunch out and have a team lunch on Friday. So bringing in 8/10 lunches for me please!Mortgage free by 30:eek:: £28,000/£100,000Debt free as of 1 October, 2010

Hi all,
I'd like to join this thread as my spending diary tells me that snacks and food is my biggest expense. I live at home with the rents and pay housekeeping, but can never be bothered to make a packed lunch. So for this month, only one paid for lunch a week!
Good luck to all xx
Edit: So I guess that means 18/22 packed lunches, for clarity's sake.

I didn't have any cheese at home so just had branston pickle in my rolls with a nice cup of tea for my lunch.Nearly debt free

Made some scrummy pearl barley and leek soup last night, so have that for lunch with half of an onion roll. Will only eat half the container I brought in today, then will have the rest tomorrow.Mortgage free by 30:eek:: £28,000/£100,000

After my poor effort of 9/15 last month I'll aim for 15 again this month. Going well so far with 2 days done, including some nice ham and pease pudding sarnies today.0

I'm in for this month as well, could you sign me up please Mr Green
My target for this month is 16 out of 22 days (no more than one bought lunch each week). Should be do-able as I normally do one day a week working from home (WFH)
So far it's looking good, WFH yesterday, brought in lamb/tats/veg in today and I'm WFH tomorrow so I'm 3/20 already :j"I don't want to sound cold and un-caring, but I am those things so that's the way it comes out" - Bill Hicks0
