Good morning everyone!
Well I made it no 12 yesterday as I didnt spend another thing apart from my hairdo, for which I'd already put money aside. I'm delighted to report that I am now sporting "champagne" highlights and caramel lowlights so if I'm desparate I can eat myself LOL!
((((Hugs))) to all those with aches, pains and various malais.
Kerri, hope your heating/boiler gets sorted, doesnt sound too healthy. You're right about getting the window cleaner, that's one job Im happy to pay fo,r although I only pay £3.50 a month for six windows and 2 doors. (Compact and bijou house!)
Beanie - I had a lovely night with my OH thanks, very relaxing, hope your back is a little better today. In the end, I didnt buy the Fearne Coton thingy but instead I persuaded my Mum to buy one each for my nieces for their Chrimbo!
Not sure what I'm up to today, no plans really, especially not ones that involve spending!
Have a lovely day everyone:)

when folk first sign up, in case they should think they need to aspire to the same amount of nsds as us who are both old hands at the Challenge & have a totally different lifestyle at home.
The advice I give most is to have a good think about the spends you will or will not include for the purpose of this Challenge. For me, I don't count the bills for power, water, rates etc (oops! showing me age calling them 'rates') but do include food. That came about because I was very guilty of popping in for a pint of milk & coming out with three trolleys-full of stuff I'd get 'while I'm here' :doh:All that added up to me spending an absolute fortune on things that I didn't really need until later in the month, or if at all!
I also don't count emergency spends like a prescription for something other than regular meds, dental treatment, parking for hospital appts--that sort of thing--providing I don't spend on anything else that day. I try to get fuel for the car while shopping anyway & put up money for window cleaner & things on a spendy day, so in effect I've 'spent' it before the guy comes for his money. It helps that The Offspring are all grown too so I don't have school trips & stuff to worry about.
To sum up then, Folk should make a decision of what they are hoping to achieve & not pay too much notice of others totals. We all have different ideas on what or is not important for us & our families, so it really doesn't matter if it's 3 or 23 nsds you aim for as long as it means something to you. HTH x

Thought it might be a good idea to point people towards ideas for next month THIS is a link to the list I made earlier this month..Good Luck!
Our window cleaner has been charging £6 for a couple of years for eight windows but this last time he said it would be going up by a pound. Still relatively good value then by the prices quoted thus far.
I was a bit dubious about posting yesterday but today I can say I've managed another two so my total jumps from 12 to 14

Hi mummyroysof3 - My rules are almost identical to BigMummaF's, but as she says, do what works best for you - thanks to this thread I now average 1 spend day a week ... previously I was probably averaging 5 or 6!
Anyway, on that note, yesterday was NSD number 18 for me and my 5th NSD in a row at my 3rd attempt!
Have a good weekend everyone!:money: Proud to [STRIKE]be dealing with[/STRIKE] have dealt with my debts! :money:
