Morning....errr afternoon :o all! Jinty, sorry to hear you are feeling unwell ....you mean to say medicines have a BBE date too? *faints* :rotfl:I think my strepsils were bbe 2008 too, seemed to work fine when I took them. :) Hope you're feeling better soon, I'm not suprised you're a bit run down after the past few weeks, and it's when it all stops that it comes out - so enjoy seeing MIL then put your feet up this evening and just chill.

    Thanks K!:A

Home from MIL and it was nice to see her. She was very cheery under the circumstances.
I'm declaring early today as I am not going anywhere now.
As instructed, I have now got my feet up with my book and tonight nothing more strenuous than pizza and Strictly - heaven ( I'm VERY easily pleased!;))
You were right re the potency of the $trep$ils, they were fine. I shudder to think of the amount of perfectly good products that must get chucked due to bloomin BBF dates:mad:.
So #9 for me please and enjoy the rest of your day everyone :)

you will always be rich enough to be generous.

Fingers crossed it will get better as i cannot afford to have a load of time off work and it is horrible as i have a 1 year old who wants to be picked up and have lots of cuddles and there is also a mountain of housework to do.

And it's number 4 in the bag! Yesterday, not today. Today I forked out the grand sum of three quid for some material for my boy to take to school for sewing lesson. Well, they call it some posh names like Textiles, but it's still good old needlework when you get down to it, it just means the lads get to keep their street cred when talking about their textiles lesson rather than namby pamby needlework.

Saying that, we found DS2's patchwork cushion cover he made in Year 9 a few days ago. It got a wash, iron and put on a cushion and DS2 now has it in his bedroom and is chuffed to bits!! He is coming up to 18 and a massive (as in HUUGE!!) rugby player, but quite proud of his sewing...my baby!! :rotfl:

Hya Spoon, declaring yesterday as NSD no 8. :j

No NSD today as I had to collect a card sent by a friend, which didn't have enough postage...so I did a bit of food shopping since I was spending. I also tried to get some underlay for this "new" carpet we have acquired...but none in our local town and couldn't face going into the bigger town today. DH is talking about getting some tomorrow as he wants to get it down asap. This will ruin my usual 2 NSD weekend...but might try for one on Monday and Tuesday. Out on Wed all day at a conference (already paid for the ticket which includes lunch, so hopefully I won't have to spend then either).

There will be a big spend on Thursday though...I am off to a hairdressers to get my hair cut and coloured!!! I have been getting my friend to cut my hair for the past 15 years, but she is unable to do it before my birthday. It will be so odd going into a salon and actually seeing the hair coming off...my friend doesn't use a mirror so the final outcome is always a surprise (and not always a good one :o)!!! Funny how excited I am getting about this!

You are welcome to come over on my birthday Spoon...but I can't see me being on the computer much at all over the weekend I'm afraid, too busy with family. :D

Right off to catch the last of the England match highlights and get more knitting done.

    Have a good weekend everyone.

    Today was NSD 9.

Not leaving the house now until tomorrow, getting all snuggled up on sofa with X Factor and munchies.

    Have a good night everyone.
