    Hi donna
Firstly (((((hugs))))), really sorry about your back.

Secondly, don't panic, the more stressed you get, the more your back is going to seize up and that won't help at all. You need to rest your back today if you're going to go to work tomorrow, so maybe today is the time to jolt your useless OH into some action... mine used to be like that until my long working hours made him start doing things, step by step instructions help, you sit while he does.

Take care, (and lots of extra strong ibuprofen to get your back moving again).

    spoon xx

well havent managed a nsd yesterday or today (couldnt miss out on the 50p personalised m&s photocards that i spotted on the grabbits and its technically a saving as cheaper than a normal card i would buy)!

However I did cancel my credit card last night so feeling pretty chuffed about that :) Food shopping today and im finding doing one big food shop a week that does lunches and dinners is definately working out better for my purse and waist line :)

Well after misjudging the fuel situation yesterday ended up being spendy to the tune of £28.38 - all the money I had in my purse! I'm not convinced that it's enough to get me to payday either. It's all going wrong this month, I'm almost certainly going to [STRIKE]fail[/STRIKE] not achieve my target this month, my fuel budget seems to have been totally wrong and my OH seems determined to eat me out of house and home (although in fairness to him he works outside all day so does need more energy rich food to help keep warm). I might have to chalk this month down as could do better, still we'll see - can't give up yet. Anyhoo enough of my ramblings, have a good day everyone.

Oh dear - well better to put some juice in the car rather than have to explain to the breakdown service you ran out of petrol as you were trying to stick to your NSD :rotfl: Hmmmm...OH will insist on wanting to be fed won't they - I have one that insists on that too ;) what kind of things do you normally cook him? I have been trying to use more lentils and pulses for some meals and my OH (who gets very traumatised at the mere idea of anything vegetable like) seems to actually quite like them.

Sorry to hear your back is still bad Donna, I can imagine how the house is starting to irritate you, I've been known to step of a 16hr flight at 4.30am and start doing some housework as soon as I step in the front door. I just can't sit and look at it, or even know it needs doing as it niggles me. Still, you really need to take it easy with your back as you don't want to risk making it worse. I guess you have been taking anti-inflamatories? rest up and get better soon....you sure the little one is too young to start teaching her how to hoover? ;)

Won't be a NSD for me as kitty needs litter and food (another thing that expects to be fed - tut tut! lol!), plus I need to go and dry the bedding at the laundrette as there is fat chance of the sheets drying out in this weather and I can't face using our other ones that invariably end up with me breaking a nail trying to stretch them onto the mattress, only to find them ping off half way through the night anyway. Can't wait for my vouchers to arrive so I can get another set.

Have a good afternoon all xx

  • First one for me today =] didn't manage one yesterday as had to pay travel costs gettin back from a trial shift at new job! Went well though =D and can claim some of the taxi fare back from the hotel I now work at!

Will be aiming for quite a few this week as have had such a bad stomach and v. bad cold so I certainly won't be feeling like leaving the house again until my next work shift ^_^

Hope everyone's having a good weekend,

    Good afternoon everyone!

Very late arriving here today as I've been in bed most of the day. Still feeling a bit carp, nose streaming, throat sore - you get the picture.
Anyhoo, I thought I'd get up for a wee while as I've finished my book and was needing a cuppa!
Came down to find OH preparing dinner - I had taken mince out of the freezer to have good old fashioned mince and tatties, BUT the mince was OFF! Disaaaaaaaaaaster!
OH, ever resourceful though, has made HM sausage rolls with some leftover sausages and puff pastry, so we'll just have them and some HM soup and bread. He's a wee treasure:A

I'm declaring today a NSD as I'm not going across the door # 10 please!

    Have a lovely day everyone:)
