Change of plan which means today is not an NSD as I will have to pick up petrol and had to get the lottery for DH so ended up getting a few more things and messing up my weekly target (I mean seriously had to get those cereals and baking powder - what was I thinking of!). Off for the week end which means unlikely to be an NSWE but I'll try to keep it in the MSE spirit!

NSD 6 today :) however by the look of my bank balance I think the rest of this month until payday will be a NSD as its looking tight :(, however not as tight as it would have been if it wasn't for my 6 NSD and havent touched a credit card this month (im almost convinced to cut them up) :)

Spoon just wanna say thanks and I think its brilliant all the effort and support you put into this thread... really does motivate me not to spend :)

Good evening all - another NSD here taking me to 6 (I think).

Can I ask - has anyone ever had problems with BBFL??? I placed my first order with them last week, called yesterday to see what was happening with it to be told it was getting picked today so would be with me next week, then today i get an email saying that the stuff i ordered isnt available any more so they have changed the flavour of the noodles (that doesnt bother me) and that they have cancelled the soup off my order and will refund soon. This doesnt make me very happy as it was one of the main things I ordered!! Kinda put me off using them again.

Emma - last week was my first order too. I got a despatched email this morning, along with one noting a substitution due to them running out of stuff because of the offer. But in my case they've replaced individual portions of apricot jam with individual portions of marmalade, which is much better for me as I'm not a huge fan of apricot jam (they came free with portions of strawberry jam, and the price was good even if I ended up junking the apricot) but luuuurrrrve my toast and marmalade :D

  • no. 7 today but ruined my "in a row yesterday" as had to get a curtain rail. We were given some nice big thick curtains so hanging at the bottom of the stairs to try to keep some extra heat in. Should save some heating pennies so I'm calling it an investment.;)
Hope everyone is warmish it's still blowing a gale here and our house is super draughty! Blankets all round.

Thanks Cheryl - I know its not the end of the world but the 20 tins of soup were one of the reasons for ordering so a bit peeved that I'm not getting them. The noodles really dont bother me as any flavour will do. Might give them another chance if the rest of this order goes to plan
