Yay... result BDINI, really pleased to hear that, I've been worried about you. If work is bearable now then that's definitely a bonus, just stay on your guard.
Take care

I might go and get my blood test done tomorrow and I will have to pay for parking - would you include this as a spend day? I am thinking I should and if i do i will go and get some shopping adn make the most of itHmmm, that's tricky....if you're only going for the blood test I would kinda be tempted not to - though in my rules I should as I count anything where I use cash/card that isn't in my 'bills' allocation so part of me would feel like I should. But healthcare is kinda essential. I'm with you that you could make the most of it by doing some shopping (so long as it's essential) and that way you are prob going to bank a NSD later in the week since the shopping will be done - two birds and one stone and all of that.
butdoineedit? wrote: »Think i agree with Kerri on this one Sunnylooloo. If you really weren't going to spend anything else then i guess you could count it as a no spend (& that would stop you buying anything else you don't really need while you are out), but if doing your shopping tomorrow will bank you one later in the week then that's got to be the way to go... good luck with the blood test too, hope everything turns out to be ok.
Judging by the advice BigMumma gives everyone in this position, Looloo, I agree with Kerri and BDINI, it's an essential spend so you could still have your NSD. However, it's good advice to do some essential shopping at the same time provided you can bank another NSD later in the week.
Good luck with the blood test xThe time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time

Not an NSD today - too good an offer to miss on a discount food store....
Spend of £20.62 (+£10.50 postage, making a total of £31.12) on items worth £296.94 --- but the code means my items all get doubled up, so effectively a total spend of £31.12 for goods worth £593.88 :T
Wow... Cheryl, that is some bargain even by your bargainacious (is that a word:D:D) standards.
And I'm with you 100% on use by and bbe dates, I have no qualms about using anything after it's use by date (or any other date) - provided it passes the smell and sight test and I and OH rarely get stomach problems. IMO we all live too sanitised lives, our intestines need a bit of a challenge occasionally to keep them on their toes:D:DThe time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time

I feel quite chuffed with myself tonight! Not only did I get my third NSD in a row!! I also managed a successful night with my cubs, it was a parents evening and as I've only been running the pack a couple of months thought it would go disastrously but actually went really well :j
Well done everyone and I'm with Kerri gt, it's really starting to get competitive and I'm really hoping I can get my fourth tomorrow *fingers crossed* :rotfl:NSD's: 12/12 Oct 10/15 Nov0 -
Hi lovely NSD gang :A
Lots of NSDs rolling in today, I think we’re all saving our pennies for the dreaded C word in December. Well done everyone:j
A very warm welcome to all our newbies signing up this month, new people are always welcome to join, we’re a a very friendly, if slightly insane, bunch and a surreal sense of humour definitely helps. We are, however, very serious in our aim to cut down on our spending and are happy to give advice/tips/hints so please ask if you’re not sure about anything. Everyone seems to have more success if they post regularly on here and join in the chat - not sure why, but it seems to work, so please feel free to join in
So welcome and good luck to:
Want_to_be_free: :hello: hi and welcome. Signing you up for 14 now - good luck. Don’t forget to keep posting, we’ll give you loads of encouragement
Welcome back to all the regulars and those returning to the NSD fold, good luck for this month:
thrifty fifty: :hello: hi again, never too late to join up here, signing you up for 10 again. Good luck, you can do it
kezlou: :hello: arrgggh to poota problems - what a pain. Signing you up for 15 now. Good luck and keep posting, you can do it
Well done for no 1 today - great start to the month for you all:
:jJAMIEDODGER - the first of many I hope
:jEvilTwinBintas - yay to your first NSD. Some very organised meal planning going on there, well done.
:jDiana Prince - the start of a good month, I hope. Hope you enjoyed the birthday meal.
:jelf06 - the first of many for you as well, fingers crossed. Sending you some positive vibes for tomorrow - avoid the shops.... Hmm.. I can imagine a 4-year old and glasses could be an interesting combination
:jSouthern Sadie - the first of many I hope. A free big bar of choccie is always worth losing an NSD for - in my opinion, anway
:jcor26 - yay to your first NSD. Very organised on the lunch front today, fingers crossed for tomorrow as well
Well done for no 2 today - flying start for you all:
:jchris81418 - liking the 6 in a row early in the month, keep going!
:jjintyb - glad you had a good time yesterday. Yes, Mr B can sing, not really my cup of tea but he’s a great entertainer in the old-fashioned sense of the word - and definitely naughty! Yay to your mum! Fingers crossed for no 3 (are you going for 6 in a row again?)
:jLooloo - glad you’re feeling a lot better, good luck with the blood test. I had a good moussaka recipe somewhere, just got to find it. I haven’t made it for ages actually....
:jKeiss 21 - like the tactics, declare early to avoid spending.....
Oooh.. piccies
:jdmb - great start, fingers crossed for lots more. Enjoy your evening with the girlies tomorrow
:jtwistedhazel - great start for you as well, keep going, your 6 in a row beckons
:jkezlou - great start for you as well, keep going
:jBigMumma - you’re doing great, keep going. Hope you manage to get a cooker sorted out
:jBlimusOreilly - great start, fingers crossed for lots more.
:jBDINI - great start for you as well, good thinking about the radiator covers - more DIY at the weekend by the looks of it
:jswanny - oh no, sorry you’re feeling a bit carpy, hope you feel better soon
Well done for no 3 today - you’re on a roll:
:jAllieBallie - wow, busy day yesterday and great practice to declare early today
:jelfen - you are definitely doing damn good. How’s kitty?
:jSurfbabe - yay.. go you!!! Brilliant start for you!!!
:jslowlyfading - wow, great start to the month for you as well, keep going
:jwebitha - ‘flu sometimes has some benefits, and it’s definitely helping your NSDs. Hope you feel better soon though, it’s not much fun
:jkerri gt - brilliant start for you. I think the NSD in a row challenge is proving to be a spur for a few of us, it’s definitely adding a bit of a competitive edge - will see how it goes through the month
:jregan.lottie - I think you deserve to feel chuffed with yourself, 3 NSDs in a row and a successful night with the cubs is something to be proud of.
Hello to:
L-M - fingers crossed for no 1 today. It’s a pleasure, we like to make newbies feel welcome and at home here:)
candyapple - oh dear to being grabbed by B00ts, but the No7 vouchers are definitely worth using, I agree with that. Hope you’re OK after the jabs.:)
gemini12 - brilliant news about your driving licence :T- that’s definitely a good reason for losing an NSD
beanielou - very organised buying your Xmas stamps today, I’m trying not to think about it yet;)
Nargle - the wet kipper is poised:rotfl:
littlepinkstars44 - you’re allowed to spend occasionally, there are loads more potential NSDs in November just waiting to be grabbed:)
Well I managed to avoid being grabbed by any shops today, so am now the proud owner of NSD no 2 :j- and a very happy spoony am I
Off to update the front page now, so see you all tomorrow.:A
‘night everyone

Good morning everyone!
Reporting in to confirm that yesterday was another NSD, bringing my running total up to 3 NSDs, and 3 NSDs in a row - the competition for NSDs in a row is definitely hotting up ... I'm loving it, as it means I have even more incentive to not spend my hard earned cash!
