For Spoon and anyone else who is interested.

Here is what I have been knitting the past month while I have been ill and stuck at home.

...and here are my latest cross-stitch projects that I am working on.

Hiya, just to say haven't made it an NSD because.......I got an allotment :j:j:j:j:j:j:j and so had to pay a deposit. Also, eldest DD was in the local paper so had to buy that too :):).

So, not a NSD but a good day nonetheless :)

I find it's good to declare in the morning, then it stops me spending on-line!! I often visit various on-line vsites, decide what I want, even put things in the basket, print it, then empty the basket and log-off!! When I do have a spending day, then I go back to the site and put the put the order through, I have been known to put it through just after midnight :o. By then I usually have cut a few (or many) things out...or rarely...added more stuff!! This helps to curb my on-a-whim purchases...at least that is the theory! :D

    ;)

:TThanks for the tip I think i had better do it this way too or I get all excited about the 'bargains' and will end up with enough food for a year!!:rotfl:

Hope you feel better soon. Have one of these on me:coffee:!

Keiss - the knitting looks brilliant, well done you! I'd love a pair of those socks!;) Also, the x-stitch is lovely, I adore that cat! Iused to do a lot of cross stitching, but I havent done any for ages. I find I really need to be " in the mood" and I havent been lately. Enjoying my knitting though, I'm doing a top in Crofter ATM, but its on the back burner as Im doing scarves for sis and nieces for Christmas ( Sirdar Fizz, lovely stuff!)

Jedi - congrats on the allotment, great news! Allotments rarer than hen's teeth here!

After being a smug git:o earlier about using up all my leftovers, I reached into the cupboard for my old faithful pyrex casserole dish and promptly dropped it and broke it.:( It's the last of a set of three that I've had for about 100 years. It performed better than any of the new types I tried, Boo hoo RIP:rotfl:Guess what I'll need to buy in the next few days?
