I don't usually pay attention to BBE's very closely.....I work on the sight, smell and taste test....Also means the reductions last one or two days more....for example the turkey bit that went out on 30/10 and was fine nommed on 1/11...even Pepper loved it...

    ** Fat Bum Shrinking: -7/56lbs **

    Hello all Hi-ya

I'd really love to join this challenge,*BMF shuffles up the bench to make room & pats space made for you* it would do me the world of good:o

Am I allowed to join even if I'm doing payment a day? could I exclude those? They are good for my bank balance but all the random spending on carp is definetely not:rotfl:

If I can join I like to aim for 10 no spend days please, if not them I will watch you all with interest and wish you all lots of easy no spend days:D
You are very welcome to join us & Good Luck ;) We don't have many rules but the one you must remember is...We Do NOT Have FAIL/URE on This Challenge! Sometimes Life gets in the way & there's not enough time to complete, but we never, ever f@il.

My suggestion is to have a good think about the things YOU will put into YOUR (1) 'allowed to pay' & the (2) 'can't you wait till you're buying something else' columns, & see how you go. For example, I consider paying utility bills & housing costs as essential & I have little option than to pay them as & when they are due, so they are in my (1) column. Food, petrol, gifts, etc can usually be planned for so they go in my (2). Take today; I had to get some groceries so I also did a bit of :xmassmile too. I will need motion-lotion very soon but will have enough till I go to the supermarket on Friday. The only real exception for me is to put money by for the milkman & window cleaner on a day I'm already spending, as I'm never sure when they will actually be calling for their cash.

If you get stuck, just holler & we'll try to help, but I'm sure you'll be fine :)

No 2 please, for yesterday--spent most of the time trying to find independent reviews for cookers (it took over an hour to do a tray of oven chips & four little meat slices tonight ) & I'm still none the wiser :o

Hmmm, that's tricky....if you're only going for the blood test I would kinda be tempted not to - though in my rules I should as I count anything where I use cash/card that isn't in my 'bills' allocation so part of me would feel like I should. But healthcare is kinda essential. I'm with you that you could make the most of it by doing some shopping (so long as it's essential ;)) and that way you are prob going to bank a NSD later in the week since the shopping will be done - two birds and one stone and all of that.

Think i agree with Kerri on this one Sunnylooloo. If you really weren't going to spend anything else then i guess you could count it as a no spend (& that would stop you buying anything else you don't really need while you are out), but if doing your shopping tomorrow will bank you one later in the week then that's got to be the way to go... good luck with the blood test too, hope everything turns out to be ok.

Number 2 for me today please Spoon, have put some radiator covers on reserve & collect to make the most of my dad being up at the weekend with the car, but don't pay till i pick them up thankfully :j

Thanks for all the good advice about the manager Spoon, did what you suggested today & he was actually quite nice to me  Still don't trust him, but at least i now feel work will be bearable :T
