Good morning everyone!
Woohoo!! I put off yesterday's grocery shop, so I've met my revised target of 25 NSDs for this month!! I'm going to declare there, as today I really need to do a grocery shop and tomorrow is a planned spend day too.solventsoon wrote: »:jchris81418 - yay to nos 23 and 24 - you’re definitely the race leader this monthPS Chris You are doing fantastically well with your NSDs! Good for you!

...So much for our lovely council being "well prepared for the snow"....
There's a right old rumpus over on the 'What constitutes Child Poverty' thread now, with one side saying kids can use public libraries to access the net for their homework & the other saying it's not safe to let your children go out after school! This country is in a right old mess & I just wish I had the spherical objects to get up a gathering & start a people's revolution before the real extremists take it on & give us peasants a bad nameWhile I sympathise with the students, there are more pressing matters that could & should be taking up their protest genes; perhaps I need to go look in the shed for me pitchfork & lighted torch after all :rotfl:
Blimey! Sozz Folks..so much is happening that my political critique has been re-awakened with a vengeance! I'll try to be reserved from now on..but getting sogets your blood pumping & dunnarf warm you up
No 20 for yesterday please. We were thinking of going to the butchers on the market but it was too flippin' cold so hopefully we'll go to a shop tomorrow to see what meat is there for crimbo, providing the snow forecast for this week stays away. This particular shop is a thirty minute drive away so keep your fingers X pleaseor it may be beans on toast come Dec 25th...

Jinty~Not sure if your OH got away or not.
Glad you are now safe & warm.
Schools closed here & no papers.
More snow overnight.
Day 4 in the house so another NSD.
So no 13 today.
Only going to meet this months target because of snow but so so wish it would go away.

Wednesday and Friday were ticks for me, Thursday I had new tyres on the car and a prescription, Saturday I went shopping and Sunday I had to nip out for de-icer and a new ice scraper. Today I have been to the supermarket to stock up on warm filling foods in case the weather gets worse, plus got a couple of small xmas presents whilst there.
So 2 more in total for me taking me to 14 please Spoon.

Spend day for me, got to have me hot chocolate this weather, keep warm everyone.£71.93/ £180.000

I had to cave in a get deisel today. Less than 5 miles to go before being stranded in weather like this is a bit of a daft risk to take for the sake of an NSD (sometimes I think it's a really bad thing to have a mileage count down until the deisel runs out! The light goes on a 50 miles, and if I didn't know; I'd go and top up. Instead I play some bizarre game, where, if I get it wrong, I'll be the one looking like a muppet!
:D).
And there's still tomorrow to get my last one it... I can do this, I can, I can!Jan10: 28,315.81 Jan11: 18,015.32 Jan12: 7,682.58 Jan13: 2,987.73 Current debt: 1,225.55
