Could do without buying a new washer especially at this time of year. Have got tons to do today got drying to do (I know it is not saving money but have to get the dryer on). Tidying, hoovering etc,. why do we do it to our selves we work all week and then the weekend comes and we work at home then#Sealed pot #085.

There must be something in the air with poorly relativesMy mum has got into a bit of a state & is not so much physically ill but a little scared of what may happen when she's on her own. My heart , empathy & best 'chin up' clich!s are sincerely sent to those in a similar position :grouphug: & here's to us getting through this together x
You lot are doing so well! It's surprising isn't it, how good you feel when you can buy a gift & not break out in a cold sweat wondering if you can hibernate all through January when the bills come inOf course I'd love to give my family all the presents on their letters to Santa but one saving grace this year is, thousands of us are in the same financially restricted position. Just maybe we can get back to the TRUE meaning of the Season when the only thing that really matters is family is safe & sound.
Oh dear..I've got a bit preachy..sorry about thatAnyways, No 19 has been hidden away now along with my secret stash of liquorice allsorts :shhh:

Meant to say..it's trying to snow & we're on the coast! Apparently we're copping a fair bit as it's coming up off the sea....Trouble is, we're just not used to anything more than a hard frost that lasts till your second cuppa with breakfast :eek:Full time Carer for Mum; harassed mother of three;loving & loved by two 4-legged babies.

Hi everyone, 2 more NSDs onto my tally please for yesterday and today. Friday was a spendy day, as we had a food delivery - am so relieved they actually turned up as we had buses refusing to leave the interchange and taxis refusing passengers cos of all this lovely snowww. :snow_grin
Have only really left the house to take the dog out, she's regressed back to being a puppy and goes crackers in the snow! While we stand about in 4 layers of clothing being grumpy
I really hope this snow goes soon, I need to go prezzie shopping. Everyone else I have spoke to seems to be organised and everything all bought (and in some cases wrapped!), anyone else as unprepared as me? I always leave it till the last possible minute, I never learn!
Hope everyone is well and keeping warm, (((big huge hugs))) to all who need them.0
