  • Anyone missed me?

Been rather manic here, went back to work in September, currently working a 55 hour week and trying to have a social life.

I've managed to get my cc debt to under £20k and the car will be mine all mine at the end of January so some serious snowballing will be taking place. No pun intended.

Anyhow, just wanted to say hi and touch base, I'll be back on track for Dec with 10 nsd's please.
  • Thought I would share this with you. DD currently has it as her status on FB and I thought it appropriate........

25 yrs old: "Mum, you were right."
30 yrs old: "I wanna go back to my Mum's house."
50 yrs old: "I dont wanna lose my Mum."
70...yrs old: "I would give up EVERYTHING for my Mum to be here with me." U ONLY HAVE 1 MUM! Post this on your wall if you appreciate and love your mum ♥♥♥♥

No more NSDs this weekend. Karate presentation night last night spent at a lovely but completely overpriced hotel and DS2
went to a party today so I succumbed to a hot chocolate with cream and a flake as it was so bloomin cold.

  • Aargh never left the house & still managed to spend!!!
Still it was the M&S deal of the day & has finished off my grandma's xmas pressie so really don't mind as has saved me hours of trailing round the shops wondering what to buy!!!

Really want one tomorrow tho, so have decided to put my £5.00 for drinks with the old men in my local pub to one side & i will only allow myself to spend this & the stamp money i put aside yesterday, if i go over this it will have to be another spendy day, but can't think of anything at all that i could possibly need... famous last words!! :rotfl::rotfl:

Evening all! Well I had a lovely meal out last night with OH, Bruv and his GF (plus baby bump) it was one of those evenings where by the time they left for home (came back to ours after) and I looked at my watch, it was 12.30am :eek: OH treated us all to the meal which was really lovely of him :kisses3:

No snow here still, but its bloomin cold. Busy day as I had a rehersal for a dance showcase we're doing next week (very very nervous now) and this evening I have been busily topping my jars of jam (which seems to have thickened up a bit even if it hasn't set) and chutney with some lovely red checked gingham fabric bought from eBay so that's another thing off the to-do list - they look v.pretty too, even if I do say so myself.

AND...*drum roll....full dancing caberet*...I've FINALLY got NSD 14 :j:j and hit my Nov target. My goodness it was a toughie getting there. Might squeeze in one more NSD before Dec but I'm not going to increase my target. Not sure what Dec target will be....gonna have a thinky about that....

Jinty - how quickly is your apple and date chutney edible by? I still haven't made the batch I was going to (very naughty of me) and I don't want to risk overdosing people with acrid vinegar for xmas gifts :rotfl:

Hello again - just popping in with a quick NSD NUMBER's 19 and 20 for yesterday and today - reaching my 3rd target - will just wait and see if I get any more. I got these 2 only because of the snow - I couldn't get to the shops

Brother went to see Mam yesterday by bus and only just managed to get home again before they took them off the roads. Today, my Sis & I got a taxi down as there was no way any of us where going to drive on those roads !! We must have had over a foot of snow so far and, guess what, it's just started snowing very heavily again 5 minutes ago   Mam is still the same, weak in bed on a fluid drip, but ate all her dinner today and also ate all of the full size white chocolate Magnum we gave her this afternoon !!!! :j :j

    Hmmmmm........

declared Thursday as NSD #13, declared Saturday as a spend day, but just realised I don't seem to have declared Friday either way.....

it was a spend day - not sure what else I picked up (though I'm sure there was something ;)), but I recall going back down to work for some red onions (to make some chutney)

Today was an NSD though, so that's #14 for me please Spoon :)

only bought the curtain hooks and tea-bags I'd put money away for yesterday, despite having a good mooch around L!dl (while getting tea-bags) and then the Whoopsies at work on my way back from there.
